Looking over the Hopewell Valley withthe Sourland Mountains in the background,Jack reportedly turned to his wife and said,“Wouldn’t this be a wonderful setting for agolf course?” And just 3 short years and 113Original Charter Members later, the coursewas ready to challenge its first foursome withPresident Jack Murray having the honor ofstriking off the first ball.2015 marks a very special year for TheBedens Brook Club. It is the year our clubturns 50, marking half a century of providingfirst-class facilities for golf, tennis, swimmingand platform tennis and a place for membersof the greater Princeton area to relax andsocialize.The term “Golden Jubilee” is used to mark a50th anniversary and is where we take ourinspiration. A special 50th Anniversary logohas been created and inspired by this termand will be displayed and used throughout theclub for this one year only.We are honored the Board of Trustees hasasked us to co-chair the 50th Anniversary Committee and have already begun work on wayswe can celebrate this historical milestone. Ourvision is to involve and engage all members,young and old, in small and large waysthroughout the year. PADDLE TENNISThe Men’s Platform Tennis Member/Guest Tournament was a great success! Mike Russell/Tom McCarthy won in atwo set final against Rich Tallo/Spencer Gallagher. Thank you to everyone who participated! Find a friend tocome out and play in a great event with favors and lunch.The PIMPT mixed doubles tournament has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 21st from 1-5pm. This is the last month of junior paddle instruction so if yourjunior has never participated and would like to try out one week we would be enthused to have them come out.Listed below are the times and dates.
