Getting to headspace Hawthorn by car You can get to headspace Hawthorn by car. You can park your car in the Kent Street Car Park for 2 hours. Make sure you do not park in a car park that says ‘Council Staff only’. There are 3 disability car parks in the Kent Street Car Park. There are gumnuts and twigs on the ground in the car park. headspace Hawthorn is down the pathway to the left from the carpark. There is a smoking area outside headspace Hawthorn. You may smell smoke outside the building. You can also park on Burwood Road. 4

Getting to headspace Hawthorn by tram There is a tram stop 1 5 0 metres from headspace Hawthorn. The tram stop is number 7 3 on the number 1 6 tram line. To get to headspace Hawthorn from the tram stop you will have to cross a busy road. There is an uphill footpath that goes east up Burwood road to headspace Hawthorn. You will see a sign that says 3 6 0 Burwood Road. Walk through the courtyard. You will see our sign on a glass door on your right that says headspace. 6

Getting to headspace Hawthorn by train There is a train station 2 5 0 metres from headspace Hawthorn. The train station is called Glenferrie Station. To get to headspace Hawthorn from the train station you will have to cross a busy road. There is an uphill footpath that goes east up Burwood road to headspace Hawthorn. You will see a sign that says 3 6 0 Burwood Road. Walk through the courtyard. You will see our sign on a glass door on your right that says headspace. 7

Entering the building There are steps to 2 glass doors outside our building. Use the door on the left with a headspace and Boroondara Youth 360 sign. If the door does not open or you need help call ( 0 3 ) 9 0 0 6 6 5 0 0 Inside is a space called the Gallery of Young Art (GOYA). The art space may look different when you visit. This space uses white light. 9

Getting to level 1 You need to go to Level 1 to get to headspace. To go up there is a Lift on the right. Press the top button next to the Lift. When you are inside the Lift press the number 1 button. You can also use the stairs to get to Level 1 . There are 27 stairs to Level 1 . 11

Level 1 of the building This level has white light. You can hear music and people playing on this level. There are 3 doorways when you enter level 1 . The door on the left is the Boroondara Youth Centre. The middle door is a meeting room. The door on the right is headspace Hawthorn. The headspace Hawthorn door has large colourful shapes on it. The door is 8 8 cm wide. The door can also become 1 2 2 cm wide. 13

headspace Hawthorn reception The reception area has carpet and white light. There is a large headspace Hawthorn sign on a green wall. The reception desk is low. There is music and a TV playing. In the reception area you can: Sit on the arm chairs or couches. Use the watercooler with the plastic cups. Make a hot drink in the kitchen. The receptionist will ask you to fill out a form on an iPad. You can ask the people that work at headspace Hawthorn for help. 15

Toilet information There is one gender neutral disabled toilet in the reception area. This toilet is on the right. The doorway to this toilet is 9 2 cm wide. The sink to this toilet is 8 2 cm tall. There is a handrail in this toilet. There are other gender neutral toilets on the left. 17
