Top 10 Poker HUD Stats Cheat Sheet “Knowing your opponent’s tendencies allows you to take advantage of them to help you get what you want in the hand.” - Sky It’s a good thing you’re an online player because you have access to the #1 tool for information on your opponents: a HUD (heads-up display). Your HUD reveals a player’s tendencies. Sure, paying attention to the action, watching showdowns and making reads are still critical skills in online poker just as they are in LIVE poker. But a HUD gives free information that you can use, assuming you know how to use it. This Cheat Sheet will teach you how to use the Top 10 Poker HUD Stats to exploit your opponents to the max. Now, just reading through this Cheat Sheet won’t be enough. It’s critical that you take action with the 3 action steps on page 6. These will develop a habit of referring to HUD stats and making reads in every hand you play, then ultimately taking action on those reads to exploit your opponents. Good luck and enjoy the process of learning how to exploit with stats! -Sky

Top 10 Poker HUD Stats Cheat Sheet 1. VPIP - Voluntarily Put in the Pot 2. PFR - Pre-Flop Raise Description: This is how often they choose to put in the pot (not including blinds). Gives a great idea of how loose the player is. The higher the number, the looser they are and the wider the pre-flop range is. Description: This is how often they raise pre -flop, either open-raising, isolating limpers or re-raising. Gives a great idea of how aggressive or passive the player is. Exploitation: Give more respect to Nits (10% VPIP 55 , A8s , ATo ). Target the Fish (35% VPIP any pp, Ax, Kx many Qx and Jx hands in their range). Low Stakes High Stakes Full Ring 11.2 - 22.8% 14.2 - 31.6% Short-Handed 16.5 - 30.1% Heads-up 42.5 - 58.9% VPIP* Exploitation: Low PFR tight range, so restrict your re-raise range. You can also call with suited connectors or small pocket pairs to exploit their tight range. High PFR wide ranges so you can 3bet more often. Low Stakes High Stakes Full Ring 7.6 - 14.3% 9.9 - 16.9% 19.3 - 35.0% Short-Handed 12.7 - 20.0% 14.9 - 22.9% 46.7 - 63.1% Heads-up 31.9 - 47.7% 38.1 - 51.2% Placement: Use this stat in your HUD, and within a pop-up by position. PFR* Placement: Use this stat in your HUD, and within a pop-up by position. The VPIP & PFR Gap The bigger the gap between VPIP and PFR, the fishier the opponent. If their VPIP-PFR gap PFR, you’ve found a fishy player who gives too much Bread & Butter to their opponents (ex. 30/10 gap 20 10). The smaller the gap, the more aggressive they are. Exploitation: Target players with large gaps. They limp and call a lot because they love seeing flops. Go for max value against them when you have a strong hand. A small gap means they’re very aggressive preflop, and probably aggressive post-flop. Expect aggression when they’re involved in the hand. Make sure your own gap isn’t too big by never limping and call less often preflop. * Average Winning Statistical Ranges taken from PokerTracker 4 LeakTracker Training Videos

Top 10 Poker HUD Stats Cheat Sheet 3. RFI - Raise First In Pre-flop Description: This is how often they open-raise. This is a key stat to have by position in a popup because it gives a great idea of their RFI range. Exploitation: 20% RFI (in a given position) is perfect to attack with 3bet bluffs, and you may want to 3bet smaller with your best hands to entice them to stay in the hand (if they fold a lot, 2bet/Fold to 3bet stat below). 20% RFI means they have a narrow and strong range, so you should think twice before 3bet bluffing. Although, you can 3bet larger for value with your strongest hands because they are folding less often. Most player’s RFI starts to increase in the CO (the first steal position) and are largest on either the BTN or the SB. Placement: Use this stat in your HUD, and within a pop-up by position. 4. 3bet Preflop 5. 2bet/Fold to 3bet Description: How often they 3bet pre-flop given the chance to do so. 6% aggressive, wider ranges and more likely a bluff. Description: This is how often they raise then fold to a 3bet pre-flop (NOT the simpler and less useful Fold to 3bet stat). Exploitation: Low 3bet tight ranges so fold all but your strongest hands. 4bet over the top of high 3bet %’s (but first look at their Fold to 4bet % to gauge whether a 4bet bluff will likely succeed). Try to play IP vs 3bets. Before calling a 3bet check their Cbet stats. Exploitation: Low 2bet/Fold to 3bet means you should mostly 3bet with value hands. You can 3bet with AX, suited connectors and small -medium pp’s if they just call 3bets a lot and also fold vs cbets a lot. If 2bet/Fold to 3bet 60% with high RFI 20% in the same position, punish their weak opening range by 3betting relentlessly. Before 3betting, make sure to check their Fold to Cbet stats to see which street they’re honest on, and ensure you’ve got enough chips to get there. Low Stakes High Stakes Full Ring 2.2 - 6.0% 3.9 - 6.9% Short-Handed 4.2 - 8.9% 5.5 - 10.3% 10.7 - 22.3% 11.7 - 23.3% 3bet* Heads-up Placement: Use this stat in your HUD, and within a pop-up by position. Placement: Use this stat in your HUD, and within a pop-up by position.

Top 10 Poker HUD Stats Cheat Sheet 6. ATS - Attempt to Steal Description: How often a player opens the pot by raising in the CO, BTN or SB. Exploitation: High ATS numbers mean they open with wide ranges to steal a lot, so you can 3bet re-steal from the blinds. But, use hands that have some playability post-flop in case you get called (check their 2bet/Fold to 3bet stat). Low ATS means they have a stronger range, so fight back at your discretion. Opponents might make adjustments to your own ATS %, so consider this before you steal. 7. Fold to Steal (SB or BB) Description: How often the SB player folds to a CO or BTN steal, and how often the BB folds to a CO, BTN or SB steal. Exploitation: Take advantage of low %’s by opening a lot w/playable hands as you’re in position. High %’s will fold a lot, so steal liberally from them. Steal more liberally from post-flop weak players. Before you defend your blinds, realize you’re playing OOP post. Fold SB to Steal* Low Stakes High Stakes Full Ring 75.0 - 92.2% 70.8 - 92.8% Short-Handed 75.4 - 91.0% 67.0 - 88.8% N/A N/A Low Stakes High Stakes Heads-up Low Stakes High Stakes Fold BB to Steal* Full Ring 15.2 - 39.7% 24.5 - 45.5% Full Ring 67.2 - 88.4% 52.1 - 74.6% Short-Handed 24.4 - 39.4% 27.0 - 45.6% Short-Handed 64.1 - 84.4% 49.4 - 80.6% N/A N/A Heads-up 39.1 - 68.1% 34.7 - 67.7% ATS* Heads-up Placement: HUD and popup by position Placement: HUD and popup by position 8. Live Amount BB’s - for MTT’s and SNG’s Description: This is how many BB’s the player has at the current blind level. Exploitation: For MTT and SNG players, this is a key stat to have as it calculates stack sizes in BB’s, freeing up your mind to think about other matters at hand. With bubble play and moving up the pay ladder being such key components of both types of tourneys, knowing stack sizes at a glance is valuable information when considering whether to play a hand on the bubble or for making ICM decisions when in the money. Placement: Put this in your table HUD

Top 10 Poker HUD Stats Cheat Sheet 9. Cbet Flop - Continuation Bet 10. Fold to Flop Cbet Description: How often they fire with initiative on the flop, turn or river. Most hands hit flops only 33% of the time. Description: How often they fold without initiative post-flop. A very reliable indicator of which street they’re ‘honest’ on. Exploitation: Cbet 60% means they like to bluff, so call or raise to steal if the flop doesn’t hit their range. Beware of calling a cbet (except for value) from a low Cbet %. Play in position for easier defense. Consider how the board interacts with their range. Exploitation: The higher the % the more honest on that street. Make sure to cbet w/ equity on most flops, and being in position is best. If they’re turn honest, then you need to have enough chips to double-barrel the turn. Watch for the check/raise. Low Stakes High Stakes Fold to F Cbet* Low Stakes High Stakes Full Ring 55.4 - 81.9% 54.7 - 78.2% Full Ring 37.0 - 66.7% 40.9 - 60.0% Short-Handed 59.7 - 83.0% 54.4 - 81.1% Short-Handed 37.9 - 62.5% 36.8 - 56.7% Heads-up 48.5 - 79.2% 51.4 - 78.7% Heads-up 33.5 - 52.6% 31.3 - 48.5% Cbet* Placement: Use this stat in your HUD, and within a pop-up by relative position. For each session you play, until you learn them all, choose ONE of the Top 10 Stats to focus on for the entire session (start with #1 VPIP). Every time a player makes a play related to the stat, you look at the % then make a read on it. Examples: VPIP Focus: they call in the BB and VPIP is 45%, so you reason they have a very wide and weak range. 3bet Focus: they 3bet in the MP vs the EP and their 3bet 1%. You reason they’re on a very tight and strong range. Fold to Cbet Focus: before cbet bluffing, you see they fold 72%. Your bluff is likely to work. Focus on ONE stat over and over again until you know it like the back of your hand, then move on to the next stat. #3 Exploit at the Extremes Any stat %’s closer to 0% or 100% are more easily exploited. Exploit at every opportunity when their stat is at one of the extremes. Examples: 3bet bluff when RFI is 35%, fold a lot vs Cbet 35%, etc. Action is the greatest teacher so get to work! -Sky
