Refresh Status – Manually refreshes the status ofthe printer. Mode:KIP Script Output FormatKIPScript (emulates Postscript output) when printing fromapplications that function best when outputting Postscriptdata. For example: Adobe Acrobat functions best whenusing Postscript output. Other graphics applicationsincluding Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft PowerPoint andExcel work well with KIPScript output.KIP GL Output FormatKIPGL (emulates HP-RTL) when printing from CADapplications that may not have a pre-built compatibledriver. The KIPGL output can be further enhanced bymaking changes to the pen table on the KIP via KIPPrintNET. Features like line width compensation and RTLdither allow users to achieve exceptional quality whenusing the KIPGL output format. KIP Windows Driver Installation & User Guide8.3 Using the Driver from Shared location (Correct User Name)When the KIP windows Driver is installed on a server and is shared out to users the driver will take the name ofthe logged in user during installation. In most instances this will be Administrator. When the driver is used thelog, files will reflect this and log the user as Administrator. To change this functionality so the proper user islogged follow the steps below.Step1.ActionIllustrationOnce the shared driver is pulledfrom the Shared location.
