Employee Self-Evaluation Guide1. Log into the Talent Center from either your My.Astate or the direct link below:From your My.AState:OrTalent Center Login Direct gin?org ARKASTAT2&ewsId 43&language enDuring the Self-Evaluation, all changes are saved and updated automatically. If at any point you need to stop the SelfEvaluation, simply log out of your Taleo Talent Center and resume at a later time.Login Username is your Full A-State email (example@astate.edu) and Password created for Taleo Talent Center (if youare uncertain of your Talent Center Password, please select “Forgot Password” as imaged below).1

If “Forgot Password” is selected, a new screen will appear. Please enter your Full A-State Email and click “Submit”:Within 30 minutes, you should receive an email at your A-State email address. Follow those steps to set a Password foryour Taleo Talent Center. If you do not, please contact Kathryn Pulliam at kapulliam@astate.edu or 870-972-34541. Once logged in, scroll down to the “My Evaluations” Section of your Taleo Talent Center and click “Edit”:2

2. Scroll past the “Evaluation Data” and “Employee Data” sections:3. Read the Organizational Core Competencies in order to understand the Evaluation Rating System3

4. Once you have read the Organizational Core Competencies, scroll down to begin the Self-Evaluation5. To make selections, please click on the drop down arrow to bring up all options. An option must be selected forevery question6. Comments are encouraged, but not required (unless specifically requested by the Evaluation Manager). To makeany comments, please click the pencil figure under the “Employee Comments” section7. At the bottom of your Self-Evaluation, there is an “Overall Comments” section that all employees areencouraged to complete, however the comments section is not required8. Once the Self-Evaluation is complete, click the red “Submit” button at the bottom of the page9. After clicking the red “Submit” button, the following message will pop up. Please ensure that the Self-Evaluationis ready to submit, as Taleo does not allow any edits to a Self-Evaluaiton once it has been submitted by clickingthe “OK”4

10. Once the Self-Evaluation has been submitted the Evaluation will automatically be sent to the EvaluationManager who will conduct the Performance Evaluation11. After the Performance Manager has completed their Evaluation, it will move forward in the Approval Process12. Once your Evaluation has completed the approval process, you will receive an email notificationrequesting youre-signature. To ”eSign”, log back into the Taleo Talent Center and scroll down to the “My Evaluations” section.Click the red “eSign” button13. After clicking on the “eSign” button, the Performance Evaluation will open and allow comparisons to the SelfEvaluation with the Manager Evaluation. After reviewing the Performance Evaluation, please click the red “eSignReview” button (which can be found on the left hand side at both the top and bottom of the screen, please clickon either)5

14. After clicking “eSign Review”, a pop-up box will appear, allowing any Final Comments and requiring your FirstName, Last Name, Username (Full A-State Email), Password (Taleo Employee Password), and Today’s Date (clickthe calendar icon which will take you to the current date).15. The Manager will eSign the Evaluation. Once signed, the Performance Evaluation will be put in a Final Status andwill be available under the ”Final” Tab.
