This market-leading resiliency is the result of a number of advancedtechnologies built-in to the 9395P.HotSyncMaximum availabilityA patented load-sharing technology for parallel operation of staticconverters, without communication or load-share signals. BecausePower Xpert 9395P does not rely on a communication link, mastercontrol or synchronisation signals, it provides the highest possiblereliability for load-sharing, by eliminating the risk of single point offailure in a parallel operating UPS system.The Power Xpert 9395P has one static switch per UPS. This conceptenables full bypass capacity to be achieved on day one. Powermodules can then be added as the loads increase. Having fullbypass capacity available ensures selectivity and fault co-ordinationalso from day one.Advanced Battery Management (ABM)Extends the life of valve-regulated lead-acid batteries, throughan intelligent charging routine. This prevents unnecessary chargingand significantly retards the battery wear rate. ABM technologyis a widely used and accepted technology with a 20-yearproven track record.

Performance in higher temperaturesThe 9395P is designed for continuous operation at an ambienttemperature of up to 40 C, without de-rating. Producing 18% less heat duringoperation helps reduce the need for cooling.Power factor preparednessIn some applications, such as industrial processes, the load powerfactor can change widely and rapidly. ScalabilityThe Power Xpert 9395P range provides several options forscaling, and for tailoring the optimal fit for your application.UPS power scaling can be achieved by: increasing UPS capacity adding a new UPS in parallel to the existinginstallation, or adding a new UPS system and transferringthe load to it.HotSync technology and Eaton synchronisation accessoriesensure scaling can be carried out reliably, regardless ofthe method used.Scaling capacityThe modular design of the 9395P allows UPS capacity to beincreased at any time, simply by adding power modules tothe existing UPS. Capacity can be increased in steps of 250 or300 kVA, whilst still providing full bypass capacity from day one.

Matching fault current levelsThe static bypass of the UPS can be sized separately, to matchthe fault current levels of the installation. This enables matching ofthe UPS to site requirements, without the need to invest in extraUPS capacity in case of high fault current levels.
