2019 Enagic 45th AnniversaryDay TwoThe Day 2 session star ted with a mor ningtraining of the Enagic Web System(EWS), theofficial and only approved online presence forEnagic distributors, hosted by Steven Trapp, with Ericand Darryl Prusak conducting the training via live webstream. They discussed the functionality of the systemand upcoming additions and improvements were alsodetailed. After the EWStraining, the generalsession commenced witha special performance byTaiko Drums, which area t r a d it ion a l Japa ne sepercussion instrument thathas deep roots in ancientJapan. After their powerfulperformance Mr. Ohshiroagain took to the stage todeliver his final address of theconvention. After Mr. Ohshiroa few Enagic corporate staffwere asked to say a few12Global E-Friends 2019.07Keynote SpeakerKYLE MAYNARDwords, which was followed by the first guest speaker,newly ranked 6A2-5 Dang Nguyen. Mr. Nguyen spokeabout the importance of teamwork and thanked hisentire team for their support and dedication. Afterwardsthere was a special recognition of some of the topleaders and each was presented with a token of Mr.Ohshiro’s thanks and appreciation. Following thisspecial recognition, the nextguest speaker, Matthieu Jang,took to the stage to discuss hisEnagic journey. After sharinghis thoughts and businessinsights the stage was clearedto recognize the newly rankedup 6A2-3s and above. Eachnewly advanced 6A2-3 andSpeakerabove appeared on stage andDANG T. NGUYENMr. Ohshiro personally gave6A2-5 (USA)each of them with an exclusivegold Enagic lapel pin. After the pinning ceremony eachhonoree was presented with their rank advancementtitle incentive and were given time to address the

After the presentation of the newly ranked updistributors the excitement continued with a raffle ofgreat prizes, including an Anespa DX, an SD501 anda Trip to Okinawa. With everyone on the edge of theirseats the winning numbers appeared on the screen andone-by-one the winners came tot the stage to collecttheir prizes. The excitement reached a boiling point asthe winning numbers for thetrip to Okinawa were revealedand Josue Andallo of Canada,a f f e c t i o n a t e l y k n ow n a s“Kangen Joe”, joyfully took tothe stage to accept his prize.The excitement continuedas the keynote speaker forthe day two general session,SpeakerKyle May nard, ar rived onMATHIEU JANG6A2-4 (USA)stage to deliver his address.H i s i n s pi r a t io n a l s p e e chgave every attendee some serious things to think aboutand challenged them to set aside the excuses and maketheir life the best it could be. 2019 Enagic 45th AnniversaryEastLake OpenExcited and optimistic distributors from allparts of America, and every corner of theworld joined Mr. Ohshiro to rejoice in theaccomplishment of forty-five years in business andthe continued success and growth of Enagic. Thethree day event started on Thursday, June 20, 2019with three memorable events. The first was the EnagicEastlake Open golf tournament at the Enagic E8PAThursday afternoon the first training sessionof the convention, a 6A Global LeadershipTraining, was hosted by top distributor DanielDimacale and attended by over 500 distributors. Thetraining was opened with a warm welcome by Enagicpower couple Eli and Jillina Dafesh and also includedEnagic USA compliance manager Steven Trapp, whoaddressed the standing room only crowd about theimportance of working within the rules and regulationsof the Enagic business. The company’s motherlandwas also represented by Enagic Japan’s President,Don Prosser, who provided the attendees with an14Global E-Friends 2019.07golf course int h e s o u t h e r n p a r t ofSan Diego County. Mr. Ohshiro and other golfersenjoyed the beautiful greens and surroundings of thechallenging 18-hole golf course. Several people spoketo the attendees, including Mr. Ohshiro, and theneveryone had a chance to network with their fellowdistributors while enjoying a delicious brunch.interesting look at the journey and evolution Enagichas undergone over the past forty-five years. Roadto 6ALeadership Development: The Importance of Distributor Training & EventsEnagic is fortunate to have independent distributors withextensive experience in direct sales and the network industry.This experience has become a valuable resource, as these peoplehave taken it upon themselves to share their knowledge withtheir fellow distributors. This article was created from input ofmany of these excellent trainers.Most leaders in direct sales and the network industry wouldagree that distributor training and events are extremelyimportant, which is probably why they are leaders! But theimportance may not be for the reason most people would think,as the development of a true leader comes from more thanjust attending some trainings or events. Of course, training isimportant because new distributors need to learn about the maincomponents of Enagic: the company, the mission, the cultureof the business, the products, the policies & procedures of thecompany, the industry and the Enagic business.Each of these is extremely important and should be learned byevery new distributor; understanding these topics will help adistributor be more confident as they talk to others. It also allowsthem to provide accurate, truthful information regarding Enagic.It will also ensure that they are abiding by the rules which governour industry and the rules of the company, making sure that theydo not jeopardize the business by doing something they shouldnot do. These are just a few of the reasons having at least a basicunderstanding of the overall project is extremely important, butthere is something more.Distributor trainings and events are excellent ways to keepa distributor “engaged”, which, in this case, simply meansinvolved. This is also an excellent opportunity for leaders to bedeveloped. The normal progression of being engaged starts withan individual, but as time passes, and the individual branchesout and grows, they will start to help other distributors becomeengaged. This will eventually lead to that individual becoming aleader, even if they had never considered themselves a leader ormeant to become one.Engagement through training and events is a very effective wayto develop not only a long-lasting and productive distributor, butalso the distributor leaders of this business. Some of the mostsuccessful distributors in Enagic owe much of their success tothe fact that they were so engaged that Enagic became their mainpriority, which led to them becoming an even stronger distributorand forced them to assume a leadership role. The more traininga person receives, the more they understand the “big picture”of Enagic and the better equipped they become to help others,which is a clear and true sign of leadership. This understandingnot only provides them with information, it also increases their“connection” to Enagic and it’s mission.16Global E-Friends 2019.07When a distributor first starts, the only real connection they haveto Enagic is their machine. While they may be excited about thewater and the Enagic business, the fact is, in the beginning, theirconnection with Enagic is limited, which is why training and eventsare so important. Every topic a new distributor hears, everynew strategy they learn, every use of the water they discover,every bit of information they are taught brings them closer andcloser to having a true understanding of Mr. Ohshiro’s conceptof True Health. Once a person truly understands and embracesthis concept, they are much more likely to become a long-termdistributor and make Enagic their priority.In order to help ensure that this happens, distributors areencouraged to seek out as much training and as many eventsas possible. And this is not only for new distributors; seasoneddistributors are also encouraged to continue to expand theirknowledge through training and to help build events and evenconduct their own. Even the most experienced distributors canlearn new things, which can benefit them and their teams. Justbecause you know something today, doesn’t mean you can’t learnsomething new tomorrow!It is important to note that finding training and event opportunitiesmay not always be easy for every distributor. If you are in an areathat is still developing a distributor presence, there may not beany nearby training or events, at least not yet. If that is the case,the distributor must take the initiative to look for training andevent opportunities, or even make their own! Not being trainedor attending events because there is “nothing close by” is not areason it is an excuse. Those who make this a priority will alwaysfind a way to make it happen.Remember, training comes in many forms and is not just when anevent is being held in a hotel. Conference calls, webinars, printedinformation, Internet articles, videos, audio recordings and, ofcourse, live events at places like Enagic offices, are all forms oftraining and ALL of these are events! There are a lot of trainingand event options for distributors, but sometimes they have tolook for them. And sometimes there will be a cost. There may betravel expenses, lodging and even a cost for the training itself. Itis up to each distributor to determine how much they are willingto invest in their own success, but be assured that if you treat thecosts associated with training and events as an investment, andnot just an expense, it most likely will pay off in the future.We’ve discovered that becoming an expert in every aspect ofEnagic or the direct sales industry is not necessary to becomesuccessful, however, the ongoing pursuit of training and attendingevents is essential if a distributor is serious about becoming aleader and enjoying a long-term, successful career with Enagic.
