NAfME All-Northwest &OMEA All-State 2019Wind and Percussion Audition MaterialsThe application and online audition window opens September 1st and will closeOctober 3rd.This packet contains the Set A audition materials for grades 9-12. These materialsmust be used to be considered for the 2019 NAfME All- Northwest Band as wellas the wind/percussion sections of the All-Northwest Orchestra.PLEASE NOTE: These same materials are to be used for the OMEA All-StateWind Ensemble. HOWEVER, wind players will submit only three tracks forOMEA All-State Wind Ensemble. These are clearly marked in the packet. AllNorthwest wind auditionees will submit all 4 tracks. Percussionist submit alltracks for all ensembles.Audition materials for the Small Schools Wind Symphony are a separate packetand remain the same as in prior years. The Wind Symphony requires a separateaudition and is limited to eligible schools as defined by each state. Consult theWind Symphony Eligible Schools list for your state if interested in that group.You are free to print and distribute these materials.The next page lists the required recording tracks for each instrument, includingoptional tracks that must be included to be considered for Piccolo, English Horn,Contra Bassoon, Eb Soprano, Alto, Contra-Alto, Contra-Bass Clarinet, SopranoSaxophone and Bass Trombone.
