In the ra onale it says because math 150 is not a calculus choice. It is a prerequisite for math147 or 151. In the parallel choice of math 142 as the calculus op on, math 141 is allowed, and it is theprerequisite for math 142. But math 141 is not a calculus class either.Melanie Moser (moserm) (07/02/19 4:36 pm): My concerns regarding math 150 have been addressed. If a5 of 67/24/2019, 2:06 PM

BS-PHLT: Public Health - af.cgi?page /programa.student transfers into this program and they already have had math 150 it could be used via an adjustment, butno student would be advised to take it.Sherry Lin (sslin) (07/02/19 4:39 pm): We never advise our students to take any of the higher‐level mathcourses (171, 147 or 151). The 140/141 and 142 sequence is sufficient for our major. We will ACCEPT 171, 147 or151 if a student changes curriculum to BSPH and has already completed them, but students in the major areadvised to take 104/141 and 142. Hence, 150, while a core math, is not a course that we would ever tell ourstudents to take as it is a dead end with regard to our requirements.Terra Bisse (t.bisse ) (07/08/19 11:39 am): UCC approved July 2019.Key: 4236 of 67/24/2019, 2:06 PM
