The Material Production andDistribution Division (MPDD) has been engaged in printing and publication of course materialsfor different programmes offered by the University. Besides, other print requirements likeAssignments, Programme Guides, Handbooks, Brochures, Reports, Folders and othermiscellaneous publications are also produced. The University produces course materials inHindi and English as well as modern Indian Languages.The Division synchronizes in itself, functions like production, printing, storage and despatch ofcourse material to students and also its sale to Universities/Institutions and individual buyers.The operations of the Division have since been computerised resulting in operational efficiency.MARKETING CELL of MPDD is involved in: Sale of IGNOU study material to general public especially through SPOT SALE atHeadquarters. Sale of study material to University/Educational Institutions in India and abroad. Appointing Retail Agents thereby enlarging the market further for sale of study material. Participation in BOOK FAIRS & EXHIBITIONS by prominently displaying the material andundertaking sales thereof.Our customers are general public, retail agents and the institutional buyers.
