2 What is AGILE –Destination Controls?AGILE – Destination Controls is an advanced dispatching system that directspassengers to the elevator that will get them to their destination in the shortest traveltime. By grouping people together based on the floor they are traveling to, the numberof stops is reduced — thereby improving the efficiency of the building’s elevator traffic.AdvantagesMore handling capacity and better performance.More modern and easily customizable. An elevator enhancer that you can add to virtually any elevator, this system is designed to move people to their destination in thequickest way — whether the building is new or existing, mid-riseor high-rise.Kiosk displays can be customized to send messages to the tenantsor share announcements of building events. Button size, shapeand names can be customized to further a tenant’s brandrecognition or show where the common areas are located.More security options.More flexibility.Card readers can be set up to increase security, separatepassengers from staff, designate an elevator’s floor destination orreduce staff’s travel time, which increases their production time.Various configuration options create nimble solutions no matterwho is occupying the building. Whether it's a hotel, hospital, office, residential building, commercial building or a multi-use building,AGILE – Destination Controls can be configured to display a uniqueinterface between the passenger and their destination.

AGILE – Destination Controls 3Quicker, clever andmore nimble.15 stops vs. 4 stopsTraditional operationWith a traditional elevator system, 16 passengers wouldcrowd into the lobby and board the first available car. Therefore, it could take as many as 15 stops for sometenants to reach their floor.AGILE – DestinationControls operationAGILE directs the 16 passengers to dedicated elevators so theyreach their destinations in less overall stops.

4 Make the smartmove to greater efficiency. How it worksAGILE – Destination Controls intelligently groups passengerstraveling to similar floors together. This technology is designed toreduce wait times for all tenants. A traditional dispatching systemanalyzes a hall call and assigns the “best-available” elevator torespond the fastest. However, during the elevator journey, multiplestops can delay passengers going to other floors. With AGILEtechnology, each elevator trip is more efficient due to fewer stopsalong the way, which results in shorter times to destination.Step 1Passengers use the kiosk to select their floor. You canadd custom button labels and logos to make the processeven easier.BStep 2AGILE clearly directs each passenger to anassigned elevator.Step 3Passengers board the assigned elevator that transportsthem to their destination fastest.E

AGILE – Destination Controls 5Improving the passenger experienceTraditional elevator operationPassengers crowd into lobbies and push elevator buttons, whichonly register limited information — just single “up or down”requests. Then they board the first elevator to answer the call. This is known as Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) dispatchingthat leads to crowded cars, additional stops and remainingpassengers who are left behind to wait for the next elevator.Operation with AGILE – Destination ControlsPassengers use a kiosk to select their floor. The intelligentdispatching software collects their information, analyzes theirrequests, gauges traffic demand and groups them based onsimilarity of destination. This is known as Estimated Time toDispatch (ETD), which leads to less crowding, fewer stops and amore efficient use of available elevator capacity.Benefits: Less congestion in the lobby at high traffic times Increased handling capacity by up to 30 percent Improved passenger comfort with less crowded elevators Reduced travel times by as much as 25 percent Competitive building amenity for attractingand retaining tenants

6 Adapt our controls tofit your needs.AGILE – Destination Controls is flexible enough to seamlessly adapt to new and existingelevators — even during a modernization.Destination CompleteThis configuration takes advantage of all that AGILE – DestinationControls provides — and is available on elevator modernizationprojects, new installations or as a retrofit to a recently installedthyssenkrupp elevator system.Key features and benefits: A kiosk at every floor No push-buttons inside of car Maximum efficiency Ideal for complex buildings Easily integrates with existing security nation SelectIf your building has high-traffic conditions on only a few floors, then AGILE – Destination Controls is a cost-effective solution.Key features and benefits: Kiosks at main floor or selected floors Push-buttons inside of car Improved efficiency in select areas Ideal for buildings with high traffic during peak hours oncertain floors Easily integrates with existing security systems3*21*In high-traffic areas only, such as a lobby or cafeteria.*

AGILE – Destination Controls 13TurnstiledisplayAnother benefit of AGILE – Destination Controls is its easyintegration into a building’s security system. A turnstilesecurity system may already exist — or may be in theplanning stages. If this is the case, a smaller kiosk display(without modules) is available to direct passengers to theirfloor, once they have swiped their security card at thethird-party card reader.Whatever your turnstile requirements are, we can supplyyou the kiosk to integrate into your custom configuration.Mounting provision requirements are provided bythe turnstile manufacturer.Flush-mounted kiosk shown recessed at top of turnstile.Flush-mounted kiosk dimensionsCut out for kiosk height9.5" (241 mm)Height9.8" (248 mm)Width4.6" (117 mm)Surface-mounted kiosk dimensionsHeight and width are same dimensions as 7" kioskSurface mount base (highest point)OptionsGo toelevatorDisplaykioskAGo toelevatorA2.3" (59 mm)Surface mount kiosk on base (highest point)* 4.3" (110 mm)* Measured from top of turnstileTurnstile display informationDisplay size7" diagonal (178 mm)Resolution1280 (H) x 800 (V) pixelDisplay colors16 millionRatio16:10Backlight life50,000 hoursModeNormally whiteBrightness400 cd/m2Cardreader** by others

It can alsocall designated cars in a particular order— in case hospitals have limited elevatorslarge enough to accommodate stretchers,or limited access to floors where operatingand emergency rooms are located.A Code Blue call removes the car fromautomatic operation, delivers theuser to the destination floor and thenreturns to automatic operation. Thatway, your elevators are flexible enoughto serve daily passengers and criticaltrauma patients.Display appearance, such as background, button shape, card area visibility andeven messages can be modified using theDesign Center application. Customize thedock configuration to enable additionalfeatures. You can also set parametersaffecting just one or all of the kiosks inyour building from one location.Maximize the trip speed with Expressoperation. Program selected elevatorsto be cycled continuously between twofloors for a pre-determined duration. For example, this feature can help hotelstransport food efficiently from theirkitchen to a ballroom on another floor. You can also prevent other guests fromboarding to provide your banquet guestswith VIP treatment.VIP operationOften, tenants pay a premium to reside onthe top floors. VIP operation allows themto swipe a card or enter a PIN to isolatethe elevator and provide uninterruptedaccess to their designated floor. VIPoperation provides your upper-floortenants with a premium ride.Service operationService personnel can use this functionto call an empty elevator and ride itnonstop to their destination floor. The usersimply registers a call via a card swipeor PIN entry that is pre-programmed togrant access. This is especially useful forhospital employees who transfer patientsrequiring privacy between floors. Also, delivery personnel using a dolly wouldrequire an empty elevator.
