Today it comes as an optional, simpleto replace light source for the Keeler Slit Lamp.It comes with a Halogen Lamp as standard, butoffers the powerful LED module if that’s yourpreferred light source.Our LED has been carefully selected for itsperformance, with a colour temperature of3,800k, and a truly homogeneous light patch. Theimperceptible increase in blue light levels willincrease efficiency when fluorescence is requiredand give increased detail to small structures, suchas the endothelium.Most halogen lamps have a life of around 100hours. Typically, a Keeler LED will provide 10,000or more hours, giving you 100 times the life of yourhalogen lamp.
