Frequent tick checks areimportant during this time of year, as prompt removalof ticks helps prevent Lyme disease.Ticks that are dead upon receipt or from animals (dog,cat, horse, etc.) will not be tested; however, they willbe identified to species and life stage.What can health care providers do?
