PLASTIC INDUSTRIES PARK 9The plastic industries park is a sector specific cluster development programinitiated by Dept of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Govt of India It will have support of all services that are needed at door step for High Endand Engineering Plastic Components manufacturing units in the Park viz.Tool room facility, storage facility, raw material availability, power supply,training facility to upgrade technology & productivity, maintenanceservices, design and development services, waste recycling managementprocesses etc. A Special Purpose Company viz. ‘Tamilnadu Polymer Industries Park Limited’with Tamilnadu Industrial Development Corpn Ltd and State IndustriesPromotion Corpn Ltd as its Promoters has been formed. About 306 Acres of Lands in the Voyalur & Kattupalli Villages, ThiruvallurDistrict, have been transferred to Tamilnadu Polymer Industries Park Ltd, byTIDCO for setting up the Plastic Industries Park.

Auto Components / Electrical Industries Enclave.Among these, the enclave proposed for support/ancillary units forshipbuilding will be the Anchor Enclave.
