Your cleaner must be installed and operated as specified.EnglishREAD AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONSWARNINGFailure to comply with the following warnings can result in permanent injury, electrocution ordrowning.PREVENT ELECTRICAL SHOCKTo reduce risk of electrical shock: Connect unit to receptacle protected by a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI). Such a GFCI receptacleshould be provided by a qualified installer and should be tested on a routine basis. To test the GFCI, push thetest button. The GFCI should interrupt power. Push the reset button. Power should be restored. If the GFCIfails to operate in this manner, the GFCI is defective. If the GFCI interrupts power to the pump without the testbutton being pushed, a ground current is flowing, indicating the possibility of an electric shock. Do not usethis product. Disconnect the cleaner and have the problem corrected by a qualified service representativebefore using. Per the United States National Electric Code (NEC), keep the power unit at least 5 feet from the edge ofthe (pool/spa) water and do not remove it from its caddy. Adouble-insulated electrical appliance is one which hasbeen designed in such a way that it does not require asafety connection to ground. The basic requirement fordouble-insulation is that no single failure can result indangerous voltage becoming exposed so that it mightcause an electric shock and that this is achieved withoutrelying on an earthed (grounded) metal casing. This isachieved by having two (2) layers of insulating materialsurrounding live parts or by using reinforced insulation. Therefore, devices having double-insulated construction, such as the Polaris 9300xi, do not utilize a grounded (three-prong) cord/plug.X1X4X2X2X1X1Figure 1.X1Polaris 9300xi Sport ComponentsTo unpack the 9300xi Sport and its components:1.
