General Hire Information1Equipment supplied under Standard HAE conditions of hire to non-accountcustomers (copy on reverse of contract) and supplied under CPA conditionsof hire to account customers (copy will be sent on opening of account).2Non-account customers collecting equipment must produce proof of identity(driving licence, utility bill, passport), and a credit card. We will swipe your card topre-authorise your payment and take the final payment on the return of theequipment or in stages at the end of each month. Cheques are not accepted.3Non-account customers cannot collect equipment with a purchase valuein excess of 1000.4Transport can be arranged at a reasonable extra charge.5Collection of equipment can only be undertaken if a termination number has firstbeen obtained. In case of dispute you must be able to quote your terminationnumber or produce a termination note.6HIRE RATES are calculated on a 5 DAY week basis - Monday to Friday Days over one week are calculated @ 1/5th of the weekly rate,(* indicates Minimum Hire Charge.) A weekend only is equivalent to 2 days.7Equipment hired for weekend use must be returned by 9am Monday, or an extraday will be charged.8We are open all day MONDAY to FRIDAY 7.30am to 5.00pm and on SATURDAY8am to midday.9The Hirer is responsible for routine maintenance and must ensure that theequipment is kept in a safe working condition.10The Hirer is responsible for insurance from the time of receiving the equipmentto the time of return or collection.11A charge will be made for equipment returned damaged or excessively dirty.12Our staff will be happy to demonstrate equipment and advise on operatingand safety procedures.13A full range of safety equipment is also available.14All prices are exclusive of V.A.T. and are subject toalteration without prior notice.15All mechanical equipment is cleaned and serviceafter every hire and carries a ‘checked’ ticket.The hirer keeps part of this and the other part isattached to the hire contract.16In the unlikely event of a problem we offer abreakdown service during normal workinghours. (Monday to Friday).Punctures andrefuelling are the customers responsibility.17Insurance for loss or damage is theresponsibility of the customer.
