LOUNGEZeremoniensaal (Mezzanine)A receptionist will be on duty in the Lounge; her telephoneextension is 2 3 3 . She will take messages and have participantspaged on request; she can also arrange for a limited amount oftyping to be done lor participants.BARWintergarten (Mezzanine)The bar will be open from 9. 30 a.m. until half an hour afterthe end of the last meeting of the day. Sandwich 23 and lightmeals will also be obtainable there.BANKOGroundfloorThe Creditanstalt-Bankverein and the Osterreichische Landerbankwill jointly provide banking facilities from 9.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.,Monday to Friday, and from 9.30 a.m. to 12. 30 p.m. on Saturday if there is a meeting.

CAR TRAFFICA car park is available in the Heldenplatz immediately outsidethe Kongresszentrum. Only cars displaying a label issued bythe Protocol Office will be admitted to it.A plan showing the ilow of traffic to and from the Kongresszentrum is to be found in the Conference Journal. Participantsare asked to ensure that their chauffeurs obey the traffic andparking signs, as well as the directions of the police officers atthe entrance to the car park, and those of the Agency's wardensinside it.Participants may have their chauffeur-driven cars summoned byloudspeaker if they apply to the guard at the main entrance. T h eguard will also call taxis on request.TRAVEL DESKGroundfloorParticipants who would like Cosmos, the Secretariat's tiavelagent, to help them make arrangements for their return travelshould apply at the travel desk. ]TIMES O F MEETINGSAThe opening meeting of the session on Tuesday, 22 Septembei,will be at 3.00 p.m. Afternoon meetings will normally be atthat time, and morning meetings at 10.30 a.m.r'MEETING ROOMSPlenary meetings will be held in the Festsaal; committees willmeet in that room, the Neuer Saal and the Ratssaal. The firsttwo rooms are on the Mezzanine; the Ratssaal is on the first floor.SEATINGIn plenary meetings and in committees of all Members, the firstseat facing the President or Chairman, and to his right, is accorded to the Member State which has provided the Chairmanof the Board of Governors during the past year. Australia accordingly will occupy that place, followed by the M e m b e r s / ntheir English alphabetical order.y

WORKING LANGUAGES A N D INTERPRETATIONf\'**The working languages of the Conference are English, French,Russian and Spanish, and statements made in any one of theselanguages will oe interpreted simultaneously into the others.The proceedings of plenary meetings will also be simultaneouslyinterpreted into German, through the courtesy of the AustrianGovernment.Portable radio receivers will be available with which participantscan listen to the proceedings in the Festsaal and the Neuer Saal.It is particularly asked that these receivers be left behind aftermeetings, since they must be serviced before they can be usedagain.It is requested that the Conference Officer be piovided with thetext ol prepared speeches before they are delivered, so as tofacilitate the work ol the interpreters, the precis-writers and thepublic information service.TAPE RECORDINGS, JA participant wishing to listen to the tape recording of a meetingshould request the Conference Officer to make the necessaryarrangements.11
