Miller andBarts were onhand at the showraising donations for the WWIISubmarine Veterans Memorial Fund.The city of Chicago has promised todonate land along the ChicagoRiver for the memorial but anestimated 250,000 in contributionsare needed to actually construct thememorial. A part of the memorial'spurpose is to honor submarine sailorspast, present, and future.Submarines played a vital role inwinning WWII.
