Our sincere efforts are to enhance our culture, topreserve our heritage and to encourage our youngsters along with service to humanity.Increasingly popular CCF yearly fundraising event have proved increased communityawareness in helping needy and deserving through out the world.The proceeds from this fund raising event will go towards helping unfortunateseniors of recent Surat flood. The fund will go to Surat Ashktashram Hospital forrebuilding wing for seniors.This year more then 560 performers, 40 plus choreographers will be on andbehind stage showing their talents and competing for winning position. Forty-seven(47) items are categorized as Rass and folk dance, Garba and film dance in groups ofchildren, juniors and seniors. Ten experienced and qualified judges with our coordinatingteam will judge performance and select winner and runner-up in each category. Specialawards are also for Choreography, Costume and Creativity.During last 15 years CCF raised and distributed more then thirteen millionUS around world. With support of generous donors, fund raising program sponsorand well wishers, CCF successfully distributed money for medical, surgical andemergency services, eye camps, educational and hospital buildings, medical andsurgical equipments, housing for senior citizens, food package distribution duringflood and cyclone disasters, thanks giving dinners, tsunami and earthquake victims.We are sure your involvement will make difference in the lives of others aswell as in your life. When we give from our heart, it generates long lasting peace, joyand happiness. We pray almighty to give us strength to help the needy so that there willnot be poor, sick and hungry around the world. These individuals have continued to learn new skills and trades,and regained hopes for a bright future.Every Indian Child should Read andWritePratham USA founded in 1999with a mission of literacy movementto provide primary education to underprivileged children of urban slumsand rural areas of India. Pratham hasgrown with help of Volunteers andfinancial institution and is marching towards achieving the goal. Yet lot morerequired to be done.CCF has joined hands and adopted120 children. CCF board has agreed toadopt more children in future.Gujarat Flood Relief Efforts 2006The monsoon rains, beginningduring the last week of July 2006caused wide spread flooding in thestate of Gujarat. The worst affected bythe flood was Surat which at one pointof time remained submerged in waterup to 20 feet high. The flood left thousands without food, water and shelterand millions lost their livelihood andsuffered heavy losses.CCF provided fund to flood affected area school “Surti Modh VanikSarvajanik Trust” for emergency sup-ply and reconstruction of buildingCCF Trustee members recently visited flood affected area in Surat. One ofthe highly damaged Hospital Structureand equipments was at AshaktashramHospital, Rampura Road, Surat. Significant damage was done to homesand several hundreds lost their lives inNew Orleans and surrounding area.CCF Committee members visited local Red Cross office and haddiscussion with Chief DevelopmentOfficer Brian Aird and Director ofDevelopment Kathy Miller. Red CrossOfficers were impressed when theylearn about CCF volunteering with noadministration fee and 100% moneygoes for donation. Red Cross staffrequest CCF board to join hands forfuture projects. Vinod Patel SecretaryCCF presented check of 15,000 anddetails about projects on hand.Tsunami Earth Quake Relief FundIn the year 2004 India, south EastAsia and Shri Lanka was devastated byTsunami Earth Quake. Hundreds ofThousands lost their lives and millionslost everything.CCF inspired by Shri Muneeji andSadhvi Bhagwati during Sant ShreeRameshbhai Katha in Sacramentodecided to donate for the deserving inSouth East part of India.CCF take lead in two projectsVocational Training center and construction of new houses in costal village Panithittu about 15 kms south ofPondicherry Union Territory.We are happy to inform that on13th of December 2005 the TrainingCenter to Village and new homes wereofficially given to the 80 families bythe hands of the Honorable Lt. This school in associationwith Vishwa Gujarati Samaj and Rotary clubwas inaugurated by Textile Minister of IndiaShankersingh Waghela on Christmas day2004. CCF Chairman Hira Patel was the Guestof Honor at the inauguration. Board of Trustees Ratilal Patel was also present to witnessthe inauguration.The concept of Vatsalyagram or Homeof maternal love was explained by didi MaaSadhvi Ritambhara during her visit in August2004 and had discussions with CCF Board ofTrustee.CCF Board of Trustees members with VatsalyagrammembersVatsalyagram Donation ProjectCCF with other organizations arrangedtwo days fund raising for the project. This treatment is availableto any one at free of charge.NY-WTC Disaster Relief FundThe September 11, 2001 known as 911was a day of disaster that triggered the USAeconomy as well as the global economyto a lower level. Thousands lost their livesincluding the white collar workers, themaintenance staff, the fire fighter, the policeofficers, and the rescuers. They lost their liveson duty serving and rescuing hundreds ofindividuals trapped in the burning inferno.CCF donated 25,000 through the local chapter of the United Way.Bidada Hospital, Mandvi, GujaratShree Bidada Sarvodaya Trust is anonprofit charitable organization at Bidada,Mandvi, Gujarat started in 1974. Two and halfmillion patients are treated during the 30years period. During their last 30th Medicaland surgical camp thousands of villagersfrom Gujarat, Rajasthan and Maharastra wastreated by professionals from USA and members of AAPI USA.CCF made a donation from funds raisedduring 12th Annual Ras Garba folk and filmdance competition.

Utkal Bipanna Sahayata Smiti to improve social and economic conditionand quality of life of costal communitiesof district of Orissa Latter-Day Saint Charities to provide a 40feet container full of clothing and milk.The total contribution from CCF was 85,000School for Handicapped in Navasari(Gujarat)“Manava Kalyan Trust” for Handicap,deaf, and mentally retarded is operating since32 years. The Trust is expanding their activities to help handicapped to earn their livingand to become self-sufficient. CCF has agreedto fund for building for mentally retardedand handicapped youngsters. CCF trustee hasvisited the institution and construction of theadditional building.Educational Project by SMVSarvajanic Trust, SuratThe SMV Trust has ambitious project ofbuilding modern methods and technologicalSchool and Library. CCF is funding to buildComputer Laboratory and provide Technicalinstrument.Gujarat Drought Relief ProjectDue to the drought in Gujarat thousandof animals died and hundreds of residentshad to fetch water from miles. GayatriSewashram Trust (GST) and SacchidanandSevasamaj Trust (SST) very actively coordinated the efforts of bringing water via tankers and diggings underground wells in the10area near Ambaji, Gujarat. CCF funded theproject and saved human lives and providedfeed for animals.BP Kelavani Mandal, BardoliAssisted by Arvind Patel of Castro Valley,CCF funded 27,200 for the establishment ofa modern learning resource center at GopalVidyanager Sankul.CCF Trustee Sandeep Panwala with SMV SarvajanicTrustee members visiting construction site at DumasRoad, Surat on River TapiShree Sarvajanic Vidya Mandal,Astan, BardoliCCF funded 4,500 for building LadiesCollage at Astan, Bardoli. President andTrustee of Ladies Collage visited USA andattended CCF meeting explaining need ofsuch funds.Gujarat Cyclone Relief FundThe damaged building was repaired from CCF fund VillageMatva, district Jamnager, State of GujaratCCF activated this fund for the devastated families in Saurashtra and Gujaratduring the flood of July–August. CCF sent immediate relief in the form of 7,500 through‘Shri Saurashtra Leuva Patel Sewa Samaj’under the supervision of Savjibhai Korat. It isalso maintained by the donations from CCF.Emergency Ambulance ProjectBlood AnalyzerAmbulance partially financed with CCF donationsCCF raised 41,868 through their Fundraising program Twelfth Annual Ras Garba,folk and film dance competition. As promised 15,001 was donated to Shri Sardar SmarakHospital, Bardoli, Surat District for purchasing Ambulance equipped with modernfacilities. This Ambulance is now consideredas a greatest help to poor and needy for firstaid services.Gujarat Drought ProjectIn the June 2000, CCF contributed total 7,500 through Sacchidanand Seva SamajTrust, Dantali, Petlad and through GayatriSevashram Trust, Bopal, dist. Ahmedabad.The fund will be utilized to support thedrought victims of Gujarat.CCF Chairman Ramesh Hajari met with Board of Trusteesof Bardoli Sardar Hospital for hospital project reviewNavsari Lions Sarvajanic CharitableTrust HospitalCCF, in association with Maganbhai andTaraben Patel and Naresh and Rama Patel ofNorthridge, CA donated 105,000 for General Clinic, Dialysis Center and MaximumFacility Operation Theater.Maharashtra EarthquakeRehabilitation“Aple Ghar” (Our Home) Hostel Construction. During the 1993 earthquake inLatur district, the Rashtra Seva Dal (RSD) andCharitable Care Foundation (CCF) helped thevillagers with food, clothes, and medicine.The Government of Maharashtra donatedten acres of land in Naldurg near Sholapurfor the “Aple Ghar” project to build a residential school for 225 children who lost theirparents in the earthquake. These orphanedboy and girls study during the day and sleepat night in the school building constructedby RSD and CCF. The ground breaking ceremony took place in Naldurg on September28th, 1995. The ground floor structure of the7,000 square foot hostel was completed inOctober, 1997 by CCF.CCF has donated a total of 65,000 forthe complete project. The hostel buildingis now ready and occupied by 250 students.During early January, 1998, several membersof CCF Board of Trustees visited at the opening ceremony.Kargil ProjectDuring the April 2000 CCF contributedthrough Poorva Sainik Seva Parishad, NewDelhi, India for the welfare of families ofdefence personnel killed or wounded inaction at Kargil. The check was presentedon April 18 by the trustee, Suresh Patel andHaren Pathak. Hon’ble Minister of State forthe defence Production and Supplies India atthe Red Fort function to celebrate Azad HindFauji Diwas.Cancer Hospital Building ProjectIn the December 1999, CCF contributedthrough the Muni Seva Ashram, Gujarat,district Vadodra, Gujarat for the cancer treatment. This hospital will serve surroundingvillages of Vadodra district. Miss Anuben, therecipient of the State and Central Humanitarian awards, was very instrumental in thisproject. CCF alsodonated 3,000 for this educationalprogram.Jivan Jyot Trust, AmoliFangani Kelavani Mandal computer centerChamoli Construction ProjectChamoli is located in North India,mountain area. Due to frequent earthquakes,the houses need to be reconstructed everytime. CCF Secretary Praful Kothari visited thesite and presented the check for constructingearthquake-resistant homes for the arearesidents.Fangani Kelavani Mandal ComputerCenterFangani Kelavani Madal, Fangani is aregistered trust which aims to educate thepoor and needy children of the rural area inPetlad Taluka, district Kheda. The Principalof the Fangani Kelavani Mandal, RamjibhaiB. Patel, has a vision for their students andstarted computer classes in this rural area. Inhis words, ‘in the modern age of computer,e-mail, internet and information technologycomputer education is the most importantand beneficiary for the students’. Theysubmitted a proposal for “Computer Center”project to educate thirty students per hour ineach batch for seven hours a day. CharitableCare Foundation Board approved the projectin January 1999 and provide funds to theMandal.12A small town has been awarded aCertificate of Merit by State and FederalGovernment of India as “Ideal Village”. Amolioperates its own Arts and Commerce College,Cooperative Bank, High School, child careunit and Jivan Jyot Hospital. The Hospital wasbadly damaged during the flood of 1999. TheGeneral Ward and Operation Theater wherecompletely damaged. CCF Board TrusteeNaranji Patel and Suresh Patel personally visited the site. Based on their detailed report,the CCF board approved fund for reconstructing the damaged buildings. First stageof funding is already disbursed.In addition to continued supportfor blindness prevention and check damsin Gujarat, CCF has started new projects forassisting the handicapped and the tribal communities. A target donation was sent to CharitablePublic Dispensary in the village of Puniin Surat district. This clinic treats about12,000 patients a year from the surrounding tribal areas for paralysis. CCF donated 1,000 to Gujarat Navsarjan Trust in Vadodara for educatingyoung handicapped children sufferingfrom Polio and Leprosy. Vidyabharti Trust’s “Polytechnic Institute”, Umrakh, Bardoli: Naranjibhai Akhil Bhartiya Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram,Ukai, Surat: CCF donated 1,500 foreducational services to this rural adivasiarea of Gujarat. Shri Sarvodaya Kelavni Mandel, Karchalya, Mahuva, Dist. Surat: CCF donated 3,500 for the construction of theLibrary and Science Laboratory buildingat this rural area education facility.CCF Support CommitteeCCF has created a special committee to helporganize fund raising events and projectactivities.CCF Support Committee
