Start and Stop of a Visualized TimerTo begin the count of one of the five Timers, press the key of the desired Timer (Timer-x)followed by the START-STOP key. When thekey of this Timer is pressed twice, thestarting time is charged and visualized; theSTART-STOP key must then be pressed tobegin the count. The time count can bestopped and then started again with theSTART-STOP key.Platinum TimerUser ManualINSTALLATIONSecure the Platinum Timer to the wall withtwo screws or wall anchors. Before insertingthe plug to the power point, control that thedata on the power supply plate is compatiblewith the plug in.Timer BookingA Timer can be booked in order to start acount automatically at the end of a Timerthat is visualized. If the Timer in use isprogrammed on an infinite cycle, thebooked Timer will begin at the end of thefirst pause of the working Timer. To make abooking, press the key of the Timer-x to bebooked and then the Timer-Booking key.FUNCTIONINGPlatinum Timer is ideal to show the time ofone or more cycles, composed by an actionfollowed by a pause, and to signal with asound of different length the various events:start Action, end Action, end of thecomplete cycle (0.7 - 1.4 - 2.4 seconds). The device is particularly indicated forcompetitions and training sessions in boxing, martial arts, gymnasium activities, etc.Five different timers can be programmedseparately. The timers are easily activated byfive associated keys, each one with thefollowing four parameters: Time of Action,Time of Pause, Number of Cycles, Time ofFinal Pause.Start and Stop of a Blind TimerIt is possible to activate any one of the fiveTimers so that they only issue the audiosignals of start/end of the various cycleswithout being visualized: press the key ofthe Timer-x chosen and then the Blind-TimerSTART-STOP key. The time count can bestopped and then restarted with the samekey. Since the count of the “Blind Timer”works with different sounds, it can functioncontemporaneously with the “VisualizedTimer” without the risk of creating confusion:this allows to time 2 activities simultaneously in the same place, such as a meeting between two boxers and training exercizesperformed by other athletes.Turning the Timer On and OffTurn on and off with the ON-OFF key. Whenturned off, one separation point betweenthe minutes and the seconds remain lightedup, indicating the presence of the feedingcurrent.VisualizationsIf the time to be visualized is less than10’:00”, it appears entirely on the rightdisplay and the number of cycles appear onthe left display, otherwise the minutes arevisualized on the left display instead of thenumber of cycles.Timers StatusWith the Timers-status key, the number ofactive Timers are visualized for 4 seconds(seeFig.1); the timer inuse is indicatedwithaflashing number, whereas inactive timers1

are indicated with fixed lighting. If the F1 keyis pressed within 4 seconds, the “VisualizedTimer” and the “Blind” functions will be exchanged; in this way it is possible to visualize the Timer that was only present through asound signal. With F2 instead of F1 the possible booking will be deleted.H3 - Sound Volume (High-Medium-Low-Off)[3 - 2 - 1 - 0] This modality defines the soundintensity; with the keys ( ) and (-) select: “3”for High, “2” for Medium, “1” for Low, “0”for Off. Immediate access to the firstparameter (xA) of the chosen Timer occurs bypressing PROG and then the desired Timerx key. Programming is terminated with theSTART-STOP key. The 4 parameters (A,P,C,F)concerning the 5 Timers (x) are described asfollows:H1 - Counting Modality (forward, backward)[up - do] This modality defines the directionof the count. With the keys ( ) and (-) select:“up” for forward counting, or “do” for backward counting.
