The total number of PCR confirmedcases increased to 20,433 in week06 from 11,670 in the previous week.Miami-Dade CountyCOVID-19 TestingSynopsisOn the average, there was an increaseof approximately 1,252 reported casesevery day compared to the previousweek daily cases. Additionally, therewere 1,510 probable cases with apositive antigen test.From the PCR confirmed cases,median age was 38 years old. In theprevious week the median age was 40years old. The age among the reportedcases ranged from 0 to 107 years old.Breakdown of the reported casesshowed that 12.4% were childrenaged 5-17 (16.0% in the previousweek), 27.9% were young adults aged18-34 years (21.2% in the previousweek).Reported by the Florida Department of Health
