But first, we must remember that chapter and verses aremodern additions to the scriptures. The book of Romans was a letter, not a chapter filled book. Thatletter is known to be a letter because its name is the Epistle to Rome; epistle meaning letter.Romans 13:1-71 Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authorityexcept from God, and those which exist are established by God. 2 Therefore whoever resistsauthority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receivecondemnation upon themselves. 3 For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but forevil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise fromthe same; 4 for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for itdoes not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath onthe one who practices evil. 5 Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because ofwrath, but also for conscience’ sake. 6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers areservants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing. 7 Render to all what is due them: tax towhom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.Verse by verse breakdown:1. Verse 1a. Governing authority here is hyperechō exousia, from the Greek translations.i. Hyperechō - This means to hold over, to rise up, to stand out. It can mean torule over, but that isn’t by far the only translation. It would be very common to

The only way you can misinterpret verse 2 is to not have understood Romans at all.i. “whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God;”, who is theauthority of God? Jesus. Also note that this directly relates to II Corinthians 10:5.ii. “they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves”, whatdoes the scriptures say? All sin is worthy of death. The only way to come untothe Father is through Christ Jesus. All salvation is through Christ Jesus. If you donot bow to the authority of God, which is Jesus Christ, then you are receivingcondemnation upon yourself. Simple.3. Verse 3a. “For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil.” What is doing goodaccording to the book of Romans? It isn’t works, because all of our works are as dirty1Romans 12: 14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, andweep with those who weep. 16 Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associatewith the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation. 17 Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Look at the previous verse. It is the praise of God. What ispraise, but words. God’s words have POWER. These are words for Good.b. They contain the force where weare to not take vengeance for ourselves, but allow God’s authority to workaccording to His power.c. for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil.i. And those words are the minister of God, which bring wrath on evil.Verse 5a. Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection,i. This is keeping your mind on that which is good, as we defined before.b. not only because of wrath,i. Not just to keep you safec. but also for conscience’ sake.i. But it builds up your mind.Verse 6a. These are the standard that we are to keep. Not as law, but as measure. Verse 13a. Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human institution,i. Hypotassō – to arrange under. To manage, or subjectii. In this case, subject yourselfiii. Dia – here is is “for” but the Greek says it through.iv. Kyrios – the master, or lord of the thing. Remember that Jesus is King of Kings,and Lord of Lords, and that we are subject to Him. So we are subjectingourselves to him, in every anthrōpinos (human owned) ktisis (establishment).v. Sum it up, that we are to subject ourselves to Christ Jesus in everyestablishment, or you can also say “thing”.b. whether to a king as the one in authority

Now you know how I see them, and with both understanding and logic,they mean exactly the opposite of what the people who worship government want you to believe.Summary1. History shows that BTC is not a fraud, based on what we have seen of previous fraud patterns.2. BTC is a fiat currency, not covered here in enough details, but then, so is the USD and mostother currencies. But BTC has oversight of the market, whereas USD is generated by bulk massproduction of paper, and mostly non-limiting fractional reserve banking process.3. All fiat currencies are technically balloons, but only BTC is based on two great factors, no stateenforced violence, and market relationship of the coin to the goods and services rendered.4. Yes, invest. No, don’t bet the farm.5. Every time you hear a Christian backing a state issued currency, remember that they are doingso contrary to the scriptures, and the knowledge of God.
