Locking and Unlocking your Vehiclevia the Door HandleIllumination ControlsTo use the door handles to lock and unlockyour vehicle, make sure the Intelligent Key iswith you (that is, in your pocket or purse). Touch the inside of the door handleto unlock the corresponding front door. Pushing the request switchwhiletouching the inside of the door handlewill unlock the rest of the doors.INSTRUMENT BRIGHTNESS CONTROLS Press the or – buttonsto change the brightness ofthe vehicle information display and instrument panel. To lock the vehicle, push either doorhandle request switchonce.CENTER DISPLAYS BRIGHTNESS CONTROLTo adjust the brightness of the center displays: For models with Around View Monitor, press and holdthe CAMERAbutton . Then, use the Infiniticontroller to change the brightness. For models without Around View Monitor, press thebutton, and use the Infiniti controllerto changethe brightness.To change the settings for the door locking andunlocking system, press the MENU button ,then touch the “Settings” key on the lower displayfollowed by the “Vehicle” key. To unlock all doors by touching the inside of the door handle, select“Selective Door Unlock”. Wiper and Washer SwitchTo turn the rain sensor function on and off:1. Press the MENU button below the lower display.2. Touch the “Settings” key and then the “Vehicle” keyon the display.3. Touch the “Rain Sensor” keyto toggle thefeature ON and OFF.Move the leverup or down to one ofthe following positions to operate thewindshield wipers:MIST One sweep operationOFF Wipers are OFFAUTO Speed-sensing andrain-sensing automatic wipeLO Continuous wipe, slowHI Continuous wipe, fastTo adjust the wiper sensitivity for the AUTOsetting, twist the control ring .Pull the levertoward you to operate thewindshield washer.When the rain-sensing function is disabled, the AUTOposition on the wiper stalk will work in conventionalintermittent mode.WIPER BLADE REPLACEMENT PROCEDUREThe windshield wipers must be in the service position in orderto replace the wiper blades. To move the wiper blades to theservice position: When the ignition switch is in the ON position or within60 seconds of placing the ignition switch in the OFFposition, lift the windshield wiper and washer leverupwards twice in less than 0.5 seconds. The windshieldwipers will move to the service position automatically, andthe wiper blades can now be replaced.To move the wiper blades back to the original position: Place the wiper arm in the down position and lift the wiperand washer lever up for more than 1 second, or lower thelever down to operate at any wiper speed.Please see your Owner’s Manual for important safety information, system limitations, and additional operating and feature information.8

Connecting your Cellular Phoneor Device via Bluetooth *Using Bluetooth technology, you can connect (pair) your cellular phonewith the in-vehicle system for hands-free use of your cellular phone.1. Press the MENU button below the lower display.2. Touch the “Settings” key on the lower display.3. Touch “Phone/Mail”.4. Touch “Connect Device”.5. Touch “Add New (X/5 Free)”.6. Follow the instructions on the “Connect Device” screen. If a PINappears on the screen, operate the Bluetooth device to enter/confirm the PIN.Voice RecognitionSYSTEM OPERATING TIPS The interior of the vehicle should be as quiet as possible. Speak naturally. Speaking too fast, too slow, too soft, or tooloud makes voice recognition more difficult. Confirm that the correct voice commands are beingused. Glance at the screen to see the currentlyavailable commands.USING THE VOICE RECOGNITION SYSTEMbuttonon the steering wheel, and a list of Press thecommands will appear on the screen. After the tone sounds, speak the command. To skip the voice prompt and give the command immediately,buttonon the steering wheel to interrupt thepress thesystem. Bluetooth Streaming Audio*Trip ComputerIf you have a compatible Bluetooth device with streamingaudio (A2DP and AVRCP profiles), you can set up awireless connection between your Bluetooth device andthe in-vehicle audio system, enabling you to listen to theaudio from your device through the vehicle’s audio system.After connecting your Bluetooth device, press theDISC AUX buttonon the control panel to switch toBluetooth Streaming Audio.For any Bluetooth connectivity issues, reboot yourcellular phone or device.* Some jurisdictions prohibit the use of cellular telephones while driving.Please see your INFINITI InTouch Owner’s Manual for importantsafety information, system limitations, and additional operating andfeature information.The trip computer displays warnings and information for items suchas the following: Fuel Economy Range Audio Current and Coolant temp. Cruise Control (if so equipped)SETTING A CRUISING SPEED Push the cruise control ON-OFF switchto turn on the system. With the vehicle at the desired speed, push down the control switchto SETto enable cruise control. The cruising speed can be adjusted to a higher or lower speed by toggling thecontrol switchup or down.CONVENTIONAL CRUISE CONTROL (if so equipped)CANCELING THE PRESET SPEED Push the CANCEL switchor tap the brake pedal.INTELLIGENT CRUISE CONTROL (ICC) (if so equipped)The ICC system is designed to maintain a selected distance from the vehicle in frontof you and reduce the speed to match a slower vehicle ahead. To increase the distance to the vehicle ahead to be maintained by the ICC system,until the display shows the desired set distance, whichpush the distance switchis shown by the number of lines on the set distance indicator . When a vehicle is detected ahead, a vehicle ahead detection indicatorwillilluminate and your vehicle will reduce the speed to match the slower vehicle.Please see your Owner’s Manual for important safety information, system limitations, and additional operatingand feature information.13INTELLIGENT CRUISE CONTROL (ICC) (if so equipped)
Idle Stop/Start (ISS) (if so equipped)The ISS activates to prevent unnecessary fuel consumption, exhaustemissions and noise. When the brake pedal is depressed and the vehicle is stopped, the engine willstop automatically. When you release your foot from the brake pedal, the engine willrestart automatically. The ISS indicator lightwill inform you of the ISS status. The system can be temporarily deactivated by pushing theAUTOOFFswitch. There are certain conditions in which the ISS will not activate, including:· When the steering wheel is operated or the wheels are not pointedstraight ahead.· When the engine is warming up.· When the cabin temperature is below 68 F (20 C) or above 86 F (30 C).· When the front/rear defroster is on or the fan speed is at maximum. Please refer to the “Starting and driving (section 5)” of your Owner’s Manual for theadditional conditions in which the ISS will not activate.Please see your Owner’s Manual for important safety information, system limitations, and additional operating andfeature information.14
Navigation System (if so equipped)Use the Infiniti controllerand OK buttonto navigatethrough the upper display screens. Press thebuttonto return to the previous screen. Press the MAP/VOICE buttonto display the map.SETTING A ROUTETo set a route, first ensure that the correct region is selected onthe upper display.1. Press the MENU buttonbelow the lower display.2. Touch the “Destination” keyon the lower display.3. Select the preferred destination setting method.4. Enter the address number, street name, and city asprompted by the screen.CANCELING A ROUTE1. Press the MENU buttonbelow the lower display.2. Touch the “Cancel Route” keyon the lower display.GUIDANCE VOLUME While guidance is being announced, the guidance volume canbe adjusted by turning the audio system volume knob. The guidance volume can also be adjusted in the“Settings” menu.1. Press the MENU buttonbelow the lower display.2. Touch the “Settings” key and then the “Navigation” keyon the display.3. Next, touch the “Guidance Preferences” key.
