Hall-effect Rotary PositionSensorsHRS SeriesDatasheet

HRS Series Hall-Effect Rotary Position SensorsThe HRS Series uses Hall-effect technology to supply reliable and repeatable angular position information. The use of thismagnetically coupled information, in place of a mechanical wiper assembly, provides long life and a cost-effective solutionfor harsh environments that include temperature, vibration, shock, dither, moisture and dirt. The HRS Series is packaged in a stainless steel metal housing with a 9,5 mm [0.375 in] diameter unthreaded or threadedbushing and a 6,35 mm [0.25 in] diameter stainless steel shaft. A variety of termination types are available. Mountinghardware is available on some catalog listings.Key Features and Benefits Solid state Hall-effect technology provides non-contactTransportationoperation for:Position and movement detection in off-road vehicles and- Long service lifeconstruction/agricultural vehicles/equipment:- Low torque actuation Gear shifter, joystick, and throttle position- Enhanced performance in harsh environments, especially Pedal position Hitch location- Reduces mechanical wear concerns Bucket/loader position10 M cycle product life (typical): Promotes extended life in Steering positionthe application Auto-pilot/drive-by-wire system feedbackthose with vibration, shock and extreme temperatures Potential ApplicationsChoice of termination types: Contributes to designflexibility in the applicationIndustrialVoltage output allows direct connection to the controlPosition and movement detection in material handling equipment:system: Can reduce external circuitry and overall system Industrial vehicle attachment position (e. g. forklift truck forks)complexity, lowering overall installation cost to the customer Machine control joystick positionChoice of anti-rotation locating pins: Limits rotation of Robotic arm positionthe device in the application, preventing over-travel on levers Valve actuator positionand throttles Rotary potentiometer package form factor: Designedto provide direct replacement for potentiometers, oftenallowing drop-in conversion to Hall-effect technologySolid State Hall-Effect Technology2sensing.honeywell.com

WORKING PRINCIPLE OF ROTARY EVAPORATOR Rotary Evaporator is essentially a thin film evaporator also called rotary vacuum evaporator. A rotary evaporator is a device used in Chemical Laboratories for efficient and gentle removal of solvents from samples by evaporation. The main components of a rotary evaporator are:

3) With one hand on each side of the Rotary Joint, push and pull the Rotary Joint downward until the Rotary Joint has been freed from the Driving Unit. 4) Squeeze the open end of the Rotary Joint Ring together to separate the Flask Remover and Rotary Joint Ring. 5) Re-attach the Flask Remover to the Driving Unit.
