Complete Round Rigging, (CRR), encompasses all necessarymunitions for mission completion (for example; primers, propellingcharges, projectiles, fuses) rigged on an airdrop platform or in acontainer. CRR is authorized only during wartime or periods ofincreased readiness. CRR will not be authorized during exercises.Hazardous materials must be packed, marked, and labeled according toAFMAN 24-204/TM 38-250/NAVSUP 505/MCO P4030.19/ DLAI4145.3/ DCMAD1, CH3.4 (HM24). Chapter 1General InformationSPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS1-1. The A-22 cargo bag loads shown in this manual will be rigged in accordance with TM 4-48.03/MCRP4-11.3C/TO13C7-1-111-2. Note: The Low Cost Aerial Delivery System (LCADS) may be used to airdrop ammunition in thismanual when the ammunition is rigged according to chapter 13 Sections I and II of TM 4-48.03/MCRP 411.3C/TO13C7-1-11LCADS may not be used for extended or double A-22 container configurations.PARACHUTE REQUIREMENTS1-3. The parachute requirements for low-velocity and high-velocity airdrop are given below. Low-Velocity Airdrop. The G-12E and G-14 cargo parachutes used for low-velocity airdrop donot require special preparation. These parachutes are packed according to specific manuals listedin the References. Parachute requirements are listed in Table 1-1.1-4. High-Velocity Airdrop. The primary parachutes for high-velocity airdrop are the 68-inch pilotparachute and the 12-foot or 26-foot-diameter canopy high-velocity cargo parachute. These parachutesrequire no special preparation and are packed according to specific manuals listed in the references. The 15foot and 22-foot extraction cargo parachutes are authorized substitutes for the 12-foot and 26-foot highvelocity parachutes. The low cost high velocity parachute is only used on the LCADS. The parachutes areprepared in accordance with TM 4-48.03/MCRP 4-11.3C/TO13C7-1-11. Requirements for the parachutesare listed in Table 1-2.EQUIPMENT REQUIRED1-5. The equipment required for rigging container loads is listed in Appendix A.AMMUNITION AND MISSILE RIGGING TABLES INSTRUCTIONS1-6. Ammunition items are listed by type, Department of Defense Identification Number (DODIC) or NavyAmmunition Logistics Code (NALC), and National Stock Number (NSN) order in Table 1-3. The numbersunder the low-velocity and high-velocity airdrop columns reference a Figure number that shows how toarrange container loads. Items certified for airdrop on platforms for low-velocity airdrop are rigged accordingto specific TM 4-48/TO 13C7 series manuals. Missiles are listed in Table 1-4.ADDITIONAL CERTIFIED MUNITIONS1-7. The munitions listed in Table 1-5 are certified for airdrop when rigged according to procedures inspecific TM 4-48/TO 13C7 series manuals.15 March 2016TM 4-48.16/MCRP 4-11.3B/TO 13C7-18-411-1
