JOSHUAJACKMANMBA (2017)FLEXIBLEDEGREE OPTIONS.Evening MBAThe UAlberta Evening MBAdelivers the same curriculum asthe Full-Time MBA but allowsstudents to complete the programwithout interrupting their career.Classes are offered Monday toThursday evenings. While moststudents choose to completetwo courses per term, they alsohave the flexibility to choosehow light or heavy of a courseload they take each term.Although typically completedin three to four years, studentshave up to six years to meet theMBA degree requirements.FastTrack MBA forBusiness GraduatesDesigned for individuals holdinga Bachelor’s degree in Businessfrom a North American university,the FastTrack MBA allows studentsto complete the UAlberta MBAin just one year. Rather thanre-learning business fundamentals,the FastTrack MBA focuses onadvanced management topics thatstudents need to take their careerto the next level. GLOBALOPPORTUNITIES.The UAlberta MBA delivers a multi-disciplinary education that equipsstudents to handle the knowledge and information-based economy,provides strong problem-solving and communication skills, and instillsa global perspective on business. Through the global makeup of thestudent body, international study tours and formal exchanges, studentsare exposed to the global nature of business throughout their studies.International Study ToursInternational study tours are a chance for students to travel with classmatesand experience first-hand the business environment outside of Canada.Over two weeks, students have the opportunity to visit organizations,learn from prominent business leaders and instructors, network withinternational organizations, and explore the culture and sights duringthe tour. Recent tours have visited Europe, China and Australia.ExchangesIn addition to exchange opportunities with 23 international businessschools, students also have the opportunity to participate in our uniquedouble degree program. Through the double degree program, students areable to complete both a UAlberta MBA and a Master’s degree from one ofour three partner schools in France, Germany or Japan.
