COSMETOLOGYCosmetic treatment of Hair, Skin, and Nails Hair: Hair cutting, permanent waving and chemicalstraightening, hair coloring and bleaching, and hairstyling Skin: Facials, temporary hair removal (tweezing & waxing),and makeup Nails: Manicures, pedicures, and artificial nails (tips, wraps,& acrylic) All include: Health and safety, disinfection and sanitation,anatomy and physiology, chemistry, electricity, professionalimage, salon business, and people skillsCosmetologist – person licensed to provide cosmetictreatments
