This generates originality reports for the instructor and, if set up to allow it, for the student who submits files to the Dropbox folder. Objectives: Upon reading this reference guide you should be able to Upload a file to a D2L Dropbox folder that has Originality Checking enabled. View your Originality Report in the context of feedback from your instructor. Upload a file to a D2L Dropbox folder with Originality Checking 1. In your D2L course, go to Dropbox. 2. Click on the name of the Dropbox folder to which you wish to submit work. The icon of a paper try with binoculars means that Originality Checking has been enabled for a Dropbox folder. If you are not already in the D2L Dropbox for your course, go there to view your Originality Report as well as feedback from your instructor. 2. If the feedback from your instructor is not yet available, and if your instructor has made it possible for you to view your Originality Report early, you can click on the number in the “Submissions” column to go to the Submission History for a Dropbox folder. It usually takes only a few minutes for Turnitin to process a user submission. If your instructor has made it possible to see your Originality score and report right away, you can click “History” for your Dropbox submission soon after you submit to check the progress of the report.
