For those that heat with gas, the program gives a 150.00 utility bill credit to eligible households. *This is not an emergency service Please call to make an appointment to fill out an application for the fuel assistance program, which runs from Nov. 1 – April 30. RAFT is a homelessness prevention program, which can give short-term financial assistance to low-income families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Please call your utility company to set up a payment plan. By law, gas and electric companies must give their customers at least four months to pay off their overdue balances. 8
