Beginner Conversational Chinese Daily Study Schedule (Months 1 – 6) Our Beginner Conversational Chinese course is a 6 month course. It requires you to study 30-45 minutes a day, 5 days a week for 6 months. All the daily tasks are listed along with roughly how long it will take to finish them. Please note that the minutes in the parenthesis are only an estimate. You can use it to gauge how you’re going to allocate your time and integrate your Chinese studies into your daily life. Please allocate enough study time every day to make sure you remain persistent in your Chinese studies. You may finish all the assigned daily tasks in one sitting or spread them out across the day. If you’re not able to finish a certain task, please mark it on your daily study schedule sheet so you can go back to it the next day. There are certain tasks marked with “Free Study Time”. That means you can use this time to strengthen your weak spots. For example, you can listen to some of the previous audio lesson reviews or watch the “Chinese on the street” episodes again to review and test whether you’ve truly mastered everything. We allocate 15 minutes for “free study time” but of course you can go beyond that when you need more time.
