Each summer, St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School hosts a vibrant variety of camps that provide opportunities for campers of all ages to continue learning, experiencing, exploring and enjoying their summer. Open to the community we offer a huge catalog of over 70 professionally run and highly rewarding camps for PK-12 grade students. From drama and fine arts to sports and all-day camps, there is sure to be something for everyone! Choose from Junior Day Camp for rising PK-K students, and Day Camp for rising 1st6th grade students. We offer Auxiliary Camps for all students (rising PK-12th grade) as well as partial or extended day care before and after camp programs (rising PK-6th grade students). SUMMER CAMP 2021 Junior Day Camp (Rising PK, JK & K) Our Jr. Day Camp is open to all rising PK-K students and is housed in our Davis Early Childhood Center. Our Jr. Day Camp provides age-appropriate activities and special events that will not only enhance your child’s summer vacation, but also provide an atmosphere where they can grow socially, emotionally, and physically. Here, children have the opportunity to experience adventures through theme-based arts & crafts, special activities & visitors, and much more! Junior Campers will also expand community and self awareness through weekly service projects, done in partnership with the Day Campers. All Junior Day Campers are provided rest time (quiet time for Kindergarten campers) after lunch. Day Camp (Rising 1st-6th) Open to all rising 1st-6th grade students, Day Camp provides age-appropriate activities and special events that will not only enhance your child’s summer vacation, but also provide an atmosphere where they can grow socially, emotionally, and physically. Here, children have the opportunity to experience adventures through weekly scavenger hunts, arts & crafts, special visitors each week and much more! Campers will also expand community and selfawareness through weekly service projects, daily journaling, and guided creativity time. SUMMER CAMP 2021 Full Day Camp For rising PK - 6th grade students We love for campers to enjoy our summer camp. We know that some campers may need before and after care. The cost of the full-day camp includes the opportunity to play outside, have craft time, lunch and special visitors from the area. This option includes extra outside play time and crafts. The day will be packed with activities for your child! Summer Camp For rising PK - 6th grade students The cost of the summer camp option, which is a shorter day, still provides the opportunity for your child to play outside, have craft time, lunch and special visitors from the area. Full Day Camp 1 Auxiliary Program For rising PK - 6th grade students If your child needs a full day of care and would like to participate in one of our auxiliary programs, this is the choice for you! We will walk your child to their auxiliary camp and bring them back to summer camp for the remainder of the day. They will eat lunch with other campers. Summer Camp 1 Auxiliary Program For rising PK - 6th grade students For those who would like to do one morning or one afternoon auxiliary camp on top of their summer camp, we have a spot for you! Drop your child off at their morning auxiliary camp and we will pick them up so they can join summer camp until 3pm. If your child is doing an afternoon auxiliary camp, drop them off at summer camp and then pick them up at their auxiliary camp. Full Day Camp 2 Auxiliary Program For rising 1st - 6th grade students If your child needs a full day of care and would like to participate in two of our auxiliary programs, this is the choice for you! We will check your child into their auxiliary camps and bring them back to camp until it is time for their next auxiliary camp. They will eat lunch with the other campers. Care Between Two Auxiliary Programs For rising 1st - 8th grade students We will provide supervision during lunch (11:30-12:30) for any child that is attending a morning and an afternoon auxiliary program. Our staff will see to it that your child is picked up from their morning program, escorted to day camp for lunch, and then guided to their afternoon program. This service is available for a fee of 25.00 per week. Please remember that SAA-SDS is a peanut-free campus. 4

POLICIES & Note: Camp details are subject to change. Please refer to the Summer Program website for the most current information. Registration The priority registration deadline is Friday, April 30, 2021. You must complete the online registration process and either pay in full or establish a payment plan by this date. There is a mandatory 25.00 registration fee per student. (This is a non-refundable registration fee and does not apply to your Summer Program balance.) Registrations will be accepted after the priority deadline if the program still has space available. However, if a program has not reached its minimum enrollment by Friday, April 30, 2020, it may be cancelled. Early registration is encouraged. Withdrawal/Refund The last day to withdraw and receive a refund is Thursday, May 20, 2021. No refunds will be given after this date unless there is a case of critical illness or a family emergency. Such situations will be handled on a case-by-case basis, and will only be considered if notification is received prior to the start of the specific program. SAA-SDS will withhold a 25.00 processing fee from all refunds granted, in addition to the non-refundable registration fee. Confirmation A confirmation email will be automatically sent to you when your online registration is received. All schedules, supply lists and location information will be available on the summer program website prior to the start of programs. Program Cancellations and Adjustments Minimum and maximum numbers have been set for each of the described summer programs. Every effort will be made to prevent cancellation of a program. Any schedule adjustment or cancellation will be announced at least one week prior to the start of the program. In such case, a full refund will be made available. Conduct and Dress Students are expected to behave appropriately and wear clothing deemed appropriate during the regular school year. SAA-SDS reserves the right to remove anyone from its programs who exhibits disruptive behavior and/or inappropriate dress. No refunds will be given upon removal from the program. PROCEDURES Rising PK-K Students Attending Programs Students must be at least 3 years of age by June 1, 2021 to attend Summer Programs and are expected to be fully potty-trained prior to the start of camp. Should a child have an incident at camp, a parent may be contacted to come to the School to take care of the student. Should a chronic issue arise, the student may no longer be able to attend Summer Programs. Late Pick-Up Fees The Summer Program office is aware that unexpected events happen to all of us. Therefore, the first late pick-up (after 3:00 for Day Camp, 5:30 for Extended Care) is excused. On the second late pick-up, a fee of 1.00 per minute, per child, will be assessed. All late pick up fees will be debited from the account on file. Campers attending partial day programs will be escorted to the Day Camp ten minutes after their program ends. If a child is checked in to Day Camp, a fee of 20 will be debited from the account on file. Peanut-Free Campus SAA-SDS is a peanut-free campus. Any lunches and snacks brought to Summer Programs must adhere to this policy. Lunch Please pack a lunch, 2 snacks and a water bottle each day for your child. Lunch WILL NOT be provided for campers. Allergies & Medical Conditions It is extremely important that the Summer Program Staff be made aware of any allergies or medical conditions that may affect your child’s camp experience. You must provide the Summer Program Staff with all information and medications necessary to ensure your child’s safety. Electronics & Other Personal Items Cell phones are allowed on campus during Summer Programs for grades 5-8, but must be kept out of sight at all times. Cell phones may only be used to place a call or receive a text regarding pick up from summer programs. No other electronics are allowed during Summer Programs. SAA-SDS is not responsible for any lost, stolen or broken personal items brought to summer programs. 6

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS DAY CAMP 2021 Grades 1-6 All summer staff will model, encourage, and incorporate proper hygiene into their camps and classes. We will teach and reinforce washing hands and covering coughs and sneezes among children and staff. Clear and colorful signage promoting responsible physical distancing and responsible habits are incorporated throughout the campus. Sanitizer dispensers are present throughout the campus for all campers and staff. Our number one priority is the health and safety of all our campers and staff. We have developed a comprehensive COVID-19 health plan to keep our campus safe. As COVID-19 information evolves, we will make modifications to our policies as warranted. EXPLORE MEMPHIS WITH DAY CAMP 1st grade - 6th grade Discover the many adventures and activities that Memphis and SAA-SDS will offer this summer. Join us for a summer full of fun, adventure, exploration, and creativity. Like the riverboats that roll down the river we will travel using S.T.E.A.M.(Science, technology, engineering, art, math) to cruise us along. Let’s explore the possibilities that surround us. This camp is open to 1st-6th graders. DAY CAMP June 7-11 SHAPING MEMPHIS SAA-SDS COVID-19 HEALTH PLAN During this week students will learn how Memphis is shaped by the many aspects of our city, through art, music, physical activity, people, innovation, imagination, creativity, and artistic expression. Join us as we create our vision of Memphis June 14-18 FOOD FAIR AND FIREWORKS It’s time for munchin’ in Memphis! Whether it’s pizza, donuts or BBQ, we’ll find a dish that suits just you! Food is culture, and culture is cool, so let’s get cooking at the school! We’ll make our own snacks and recipes. June 21-25 WET WILD WEEK Water art, water games, water stories, crafts with water, and campers will make a homemade Slip and Slide! Let’s explore the wonders of water. 7 8

June 28-July 2 STARS AND STRIPES WEEK: Snap, Crackle, Pop our way to learn how Memphis observes the 4th of July. Campers will celebrate how Memphis culture celebrates the history of America through art, music, hands on activities, play, and good southern 4th of July fun. July 5-9 4th of JULY BREAK July 12-16 JUST “ZOO IT” Learn about incredible insects, explore behind the scenes locations, visit animal friends, tour parts of the Memphis Zoo virtually and participate in live and engaging activities. They will even experience hands-on animal scientific activities, and learn to care for all types of animals. Finish off the week participating in the Animal Olympics. July 19-23 OLYMPIC WEEK WILD WORLD OF SPORTS Campers will represent a country and explore the various sports, foods, and art from around the world, and get acquainted with some Memphis Hometown Heros! Finally, finish off the week shining in the Stars and Suns Olympic Games. July 26-30 WALK ON THE WILD SIDE Outdoor adventures, bugs and butterflies, explore the outdoors available at Shelby Farms ,camping out on our grounds, gaze at the galaxy of stars at night, cook on an open fire, listen to fireside tales and enjoy creating art from nature. Learn to trek the campus using a compass to lead your way. JR. DAY CAMP 2021 Grades PK, JK & K EXPLORE OUR WORLD WITH JUNIOR DAY CAMP PreK - Kindergarten The Junior Day Camp is open to all rising PK-K students and is housed in our Davis Early Childhood Center. Children will have the opportunity to experience new adventures through weekly based themes centered around arts and creativity, special activities and challenges, on campus visitors and vendors, and much more. Join us for a summer of fun where your child can learn and grow! June 7-11 NATURE GONE WILD! What better way to kickstart the summer than by exploring all of what nature has to offer! This week campers will be exploring our environment through engaging nature crafts, games, scavenger hunts and much more! They will work together to create their very own campsite and enjoy a special visitor that is sure to be wild! June 14-18 IMAGINATION CREATION Campers get ready to test your creativity with a week full of S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) activities, challenges, games, and much more. Join us for a fun-filled week and discover the endless possibilities using your imagination!

June 21-25 SPLISH, SPLASH, PLAY! Don’t forget your sunscreen this week! Campers will not only beat the heat with some fun water play, but will also explore underwater life, engage in exciting experiments and crafts along with fun games and a special treat. June 28- July 2 RED, WHITE & BLUE WAHOO! This week campers will kick off the Fourth of July a few days early. To kickstart the celebration, campers will enjoy a week full of 4th of July inspired crafts, a Red White & Blue Tie Dye Day, as well as a fun and games field day! July 5-9 4th of JULY BREAK July 12-16 ZOOTASTIC WEEK Join us for a fun week where campers will get to explore animals and their habitats from our own Memphis Zoo! This week will include a fun educational virtual Zoo field trip in our state-of-the-art Distance Learning Center (DLC), exciting arts and crafts activities, themed physical activity and games. But that’s not all. A special visitor from our very own Memphis Zoo will make this a week you won’t want to miss! July 19-23 SUPERHERO WEEK Boom! Pow! Smash! Super Heroes come in all different shapes and sizes, special powers and more! This week you will have the opportunity to create your very own Superhero with his or her very own superpowers and much more! Make sure to join us this Super Week! July 26-30 MYSTERY ADVENTURE What better way to end the summer than with some mysterious summer fun! This week will be full of adventures including a special visitor, an icy cold treat, a funfilled field day and much more! Make sure you don’t miss the last week of some summer fun! 11

PRE-CAMP COURSE June 1-4 CPR/First Aid and Red Cross Babysitting Course For rising 7th-8th grade students Dates/Times: June 1-4; 1:00-4:30pm (4 days) Fee: 175.00 explore The American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/First Aid/AED class (presented on the first two days of class) is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking, or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrive. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock, and other emergencies. This course teaches Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and AED use. Students earn a two-year certification card. The American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training Course (presented on the last two days of class) is the nation’s leader in babysitting classes and child care training and will prepare you to be the best sitter in your neighborhood. Start your babysitting business on the right foot and learn how to be a safe, professional, and reliable sitter. Topics covered include: leadership, business of babysitting, safe and sound on the job, understanding kids from 0-10, caring for kids, and what to do in an emergency. We will have fun with letters, sounds, fine motor activities as well as lots of movement. SAA Hoop School offers a variety of skill development opportunities for young basketball players whether you are new to the game or want to improve your skill level. Hoop camp helps build players character, promotes good sportsmanship, and leadership skills. Campers will receive individual and group instruction. This camp will offer the young players a positive experience. Participants will have fun while being taught the fundamentals of basketball: shooting, dribbling, passing, rebounding, and defense. We make the most of every day at camp by developing individual basketball skills with enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Basketball is more fun when you can play it well and do it the right way. Instructor: Amy Shoaf, Junior Kindergarten Teacher KIDFIT For rising PK-K students Dates/Times: June 7-11; 9:00-11:30am Fee: 100.00 Fit kids are happy kids! This camp will engage children with fun and friendly activities and games all week long! KidFit Camp consists of fun games throughout the morning including access to the gym, track, soccer field and sports equipment. We play freeze and line tag, relay races, obstacle courses, ultimate dance parties, musical hula hoops, multiple sports, bubble popping and so much more! Activities focus on balance, agility and building confidence through play! Register for KidFit and have a happy and healthy camper all week long! They explore and create to understand the world around them. This class will blend both art and science in a captivating way to learn and create. Students will be learning about topics like animals, the human body and conservation while creating art projects that support their learning. Through the integration of science and art, students gain a better understanding of their beautiful world! It is an excellent opportunity to learn about all aspects of production and to discover and develop theatrical and musical talent. The mission of this camp is to boost confidence and build friendships through cooperative effort and fun. Do you want to build a snowman? Each day will be filled with fun challenges for you and your friends to conquer! In addition, students will learn proper hand technique, how to create a chain, and single and double crochet. By the end of the week, each student will make a scarf (infinity or regular)! Instructor: Heather Valdez, Upper School Family Life Science Instructor SPEED, STRENGTH & CONDITIONING For rising 5th-8th grade students Dates/Times: June 7-11; 9:00-11:30am Fee: 135.00 Instructor: Caitlin Motte, SAA Varsity Basketball Coach STEM/MOTION CAMP For rising 6th-8th grade students Dates/Times: June 7-11; 9:00-11:30am Fee: 125.00 Students will study Newton’s Laws of Motion through activities that include: collisions, rat racers, solar-powered cars, and finally blast off with water pressure rockets. (Teaching hard skills for future careers in science, technology, engineering, and math in a fun and engaging setting). Instructor: Chuck Henry, 8th Grade Science Teacher This camp will focus on athletic enhancement and speed development. Young athletes will learn proper training techniques and fitness program design to help them achieve their athletic potential - whatever their sport may be. Overall health of the athlete is emphasized. Each athlete will leave with a personalized plan to stay on track the rest of the summer. This camp is co-ed. AUXILIARY CAMPS Week 1 - June 7-11 SUMMER CIRCUIT BOOTCAMP - Week 1 of 6 Wednesdays and Fridays only For rising 9th-12th grade students and Faculty Dates/Times: June 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25, July 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30; 8:00-9:00am Davis Gym Fee: 125.00 Join in on Summer Circuit Bootcamp! If you think the gym and workout classes are intimidating and daunting, then this is the program for you! All fitness levels welcome - from beginners to the most avid gym lovers. This high energy, fun program allows you to train at your own pace - so the challenge is up to you! Summer Circuit Bootcamp is here to build confidence, strength and an appreciation for wellness! AUXILIARY CAMPS Week 1 - June 7-11 ACT PREP MATH For rising 10th-12th grade students Dates/Times: June 7-11 12:00-2:00pm Fee: 155 (Fee includes 20 for the purchase of the Wiley Publishing guide for ACT Math. This will be handed out on the first day of class.) Brush up your math and calculator skills for upcoming and future ACT tests! You will enter the test prepared after a complete review of all skills covered by the Math section of the test. We will also go through calculator tricks and test taking strategies. You will be given a suggested self study regimen to carry with you and are encouraged to continue to get help from Ms. McEachron throughout the year. Instructor: Michelle McEachron, Upper School Math Teacher *Price reflects all dates listed regardless of how many sessions are attended. Summer Circuit Boot campers are encouraged to attend as many sessions as possible. You only need to register once, not each week. Instructor: Maggie Glaser, SAA Assistant Soccer Coach ACT PREP ENGLISH AND READING For rising 10th-12th grade students Dates/Times: June 7-11; 9:30-11:30am Fee: 175 (Fee includes 40 for purchase of the Wiley Publishing guides for ACT English and Reading. These will be handed out on the first day of class.) Brush up your skills in advance of the June ACT. You will enter the test prepared after a thorough practice of skills covered by the English and Reading sections of the test. We will begin the week with a baseline test, and we will review question types and the skills underlying them. Focus areas include the following: finding the main idea and supporting detail, analyzing rhetorical strategies, and correcting errors in sentence structure, punctuation, and usage. Each day we will take one or two popular children’s books and bring their special creatures to life. On Friday you can bring your favorite animal storybook from home to share with the rest of the class! What happens when you mix water, with sugar and food coloring? What can we make with baking soda, vegetable oil, essential oil and paint? How can we make our own paper? Can you make art with magnets? If you want to find out the answers to these questions, this is the camp for you! When this nationally acclaimed program comes to Saint Agnes Academy-Saint Dominic School from June 14th to 18th, campers in grades K-6 will collaborate with friends in hands-on, open-ended STEM challenges.
