Appendix ABaker Encyclopedia of the Bible Creation, Doctrine OfOne of the two central themes in Scripture comprising thebackbone of its theological teaching, the other theme beingredemption. Creation is not the same as redemption; nor canredemption so overshadow creation as to cut short its theologicalvalidity. Both doctrines belong together but in a uniquerelationship.
