If no stain removeror cleaner is applied directly after contact then it is usually considered to be a "permanent" mark.Current "Stain Removers" that are being utilized are designed around a "Solvent" system despitebeing effective will also attack the colouring of the leather cover so that further treatment andadditional spot or full colour application is required. The MX14 system is a water based non-toxicstain remover designed to remove random surface pigmentation by direct application andabsorption to allow direct contact with the solution with the stain mark. This system is designed notto damage the leather surface so has been formulated to slowly breakdown the random surfacepigmentation and will gradually remove the stain in a controlled manor, after application thereshould be no requirement to carry out any additional painting or colouring. This Service Bulletin is issued to give information and instructions to maintenance personnel onhow to carry-out an approved repair process to remove the surface pigmentation from thesurface of leather seat covers.Form No: 365-120 (ISSUE 3)
