Studentswill be informed of their oral groupings at a briefing prior to the examination.b.All students will be scheduled to take their EL / MT Oral either during the 1st Session(starting at about 2.15 p.m.) or 2 nd Session (starting at about 3.40 p.m.)c.Lunch break is at 1.15 p.m. on the day of the Oral Examination and students are toassemble in the Indoor Sports Hall (ISH) on the day of the examination for attendancetaking.d.Students are expected to do silent reading or their own revision while waiting for theirturns.e.All students, except students not taking Mother Tongue Oral, will be allowed to go homeimmediately after their Oral Examination in the 2 nd session. Please note that the firstcandidate in the 2nd session will be released at about 3.45 p.m. and the last candidate inthe 2nd session will be released by about 5.15 p.m.f.NTIL students and students who are exempted from Mother Tongue Language will beallowed to go home immediately after their EL Oral in the 1st session.g.Kindly make the necessary transport arrangement to pick up your child after theexamination.h.Do take note that the timing of the examination is only an estimation which is subject tochange due to unforeseen circumstances. We appeal to your kind understanding in caseof any delay.Attached is the list of examination topics that will be tested. We seek your support in monitoringyour child / ward’s revision of the topics so that he / she is well-prepared.4.All Supplementary / Remedial lessons will be suspended from Term 4 Week 5 onwards.5.If your child / ward is absent for a particular paper, he / she will not be allowed to take thatpaper upon returning to school. Your child / ward’s marks will be pro-rated if a medical certificate(MC) is produced. No marks will be awarded for a child who is absent without an MC. Pleasenote that MCs from TCM practitioners and letters from parents will not be accepted. Pleaseinform the form teacher if your child / ward is sick on the day of the examination. Youmay contact the general office at 6384 0809.6.Students who have missed the Oral Examination due to medical reasons (medical certificate isrequired), will have arrangements made for them to sit for the examination on the assigned OralMake-Up day.2
