Oil and fuel filtersare replaceable screw-on canister type.CAT Diesel Engine : The Caterpillar generating sets are driven byhigh-performance, highly reliable diesel or gas engines.Generating sets are delivered with all necessary lubricating-oil andengine coolant. These engines offer excellent fuel efficiency andoutstanding service life.Cooling system :A heavy-duty radiator withintegral surge tank and blowerfan, cools the diesel engines inambient temperatures up to 50 C(122 F) or gas engines in ambienttemperatures up to 43 C (110 F).Control panel :The EMCP3 control panelis fully equipped with allnecessary engine gauges,alternator gauges andwarning lamps.Circuit breaker :A fully rated UL and CSAcertified mainline circuitbreaker is included toswitch and protect theelectrical load. It is fittedin an integral metal sheetenclosure.The wire connections arelocated directly below thecircuit breaker.Voltage regulator :The regulator accurately maintains theload voltage at levels 1% from noload to full load.2Guards :Complete guarding of all rotatingparts such as cooling fan,charging alternator and drivebelts is by perforated steel sheetshields.Special guarding for the exhaustpiping and the turbo-charger isalso available as an option.For all their engine, power generation or solarenergy activities, J.A.
