Harley-Davidson motorcycles first introduced EFI systems back in the 1990’s on their touring motorcycles. These systems were produced by Magneti-Marelli and use the Alpha-N (throttle position based) technology for controlling fuel and timing. The H-D Delphi EFI system was first introduced in 2001 as a replacement for the Marelli EFI system.
