Sewing fabric for the back of the ornament (5"x5"or two pieces if you have an open space in yourneedlework, like the one in the model); I have usedquilting cotton, lining fabric, satin, dupioni silk. Thin(but not sheer) fabrics work best; bulky fabricswon't work well. Sewing thread, any color Threads for making the cording and tassel for yourornament. Choose colors from the needleworkpiece you will be bringing. For the main color myfirst choice perle cotton (one ball of #8 will beenough), with floss as a second choice (severalskeins of the same color will be required - bring atleast 5 for the chosen color of your tassel).
