Kevinbegan his public managementcareer journey following acouple of years in the private sector in 1977 asthe Director of Human Resources in Stanton. InJanuary, 1981 he was appointed Assistant tothe City Manager, and in 1982 Kevin wasappointed Stanton City Manager/City Clerk. InNovember, 1985 he moved to the CityManager post in Buena Park. Kevin served inthe “Home of Knott‟s Berry Farm” for nearly adozen years before moving to NorthernCalifornia to be the City Manager in Fairfield inMarch, 1997. Kevin retired from his Fairfield postin 2008, and became associated with UrbanFutures, Inc.He jumped back into publicmanagement though, and is currently servingas the Interim City Manager in Stockton. In October, 1978 he was elevated toMillbrae City Administrator. In 1981 Bill returnedto Southern California as the Tustin CityManager and he has served there since. Hehas a BA from the California State University,Northridge and an MPA from USC. He hasearned a 35-year ICMA Service Award.Tustin incorporated in 1927 with a population ofabout 900. Cox was the City Manager inVictorville. Jim started his public service careerin the United States Navy. After an honorabledischarge and graduating in 1966as anAdministrative Assistant in Indio. In October,1967 Jim took a similar position in Victorville andstarted up through the organization fromAdministrative Assistant; Assistant City Manager,1968; and City Manager in December, 1969. Heretired as the Victorville City Manager 31-yearslater in 2000. That year he lost a bid to becomea High Desert State Legislator, but wasappointed to the Board of Directors of theMojave Desert Resource Conservation District.Jim has served on the Victor Valley HospitalBoard of Directors too. He was elected to theVictor Valley Water District Board in 2003, andserved there until the District merged with theCity of Victorville in 2007. In September, 2007Jim was appointed Interim Town Manager inApple Valley and served that community untilAugust, 2008. Ted began his career in 1963with a 3-month paid internship in Oxford, Ohio.In 1964 he served 6-months as an AdministrativeAssistant in Dayton, Ohio, and in June, 1965 heaccepted an Administrative Assistant post inSalem, Oregon. He was appointed Assistant tothe City Manager in 1969. In June, 1970 Tedheaded east to become the Assistant Managerin Columbia, Maryland, and after nearly twoyears in that position he was appointed CityManager in Vandalia, Ohio in June, 1972. Tedmoved back to California in November, 1975 toaccept the Assistant City Manager post inVisalia, and in 1978 he was appointed VisaliaCity Manager. Ted served in Visalia until thesummer of 1985 when he served five months asthe San Rafael City Manager prior to taking thereins as President of The Gaebler Group, Inc. inDecember, 1985. Ted served a three-monthassignment at Interim City Manager in Herculesin 1987, and a 6-month assignment as theAssistant Chief Executive Officer in Washington,D.C. in 1998. In January, 2000 Ted moved backinto full-time local government employment asthe County Executive Officer in NevadaCounty, California where he served until 2003.After a 6-month Interim City Managerassignment in East Palo Alto in 2003, Ted wasappointed to his current post as RanchoCordova City Manager in October, 2003.
