Dredging Overview Sediment will be mechanically removed byan excavator on a floating work platformconstructed of modular barge sections Dredge area is 160x160 ft ( 0.6 acres) andwill target removal of 1.0 foot of sediment GPS positioning and real time visualizationsoftware will be used to confirm locationand dredge depths Sediment will be transported by barge withperimeter controls (filter fabric, strawbundles) and silt curtains will surround thedredge area to protect water quality Dredge will move between the dredge areaand staging area daily, and storedovernight at staging area Dredging anticipated to takeapproximately 4 weeksDredge Platform EquipmentMaterial BargeDredging Software
