1. OVERVIEW2. DEAL ELIGIBILITYRUN TO NETAPP (R2N) is a global promotion toencourage our customers to migrate from ANY competitorto ANY NetApp platform. Each deal must be an open, active opportunity withat least one quote nominated for RUN TO NETAPPthrough Ascend. Deal Registration status must be accepted. The deal can be any EMC, HPE, IBM, Pure, Nutanix,Hitachi, or ANY OTHER competitor to ANY NetAppplatform opportunity. It must include data migration fromANY competitor to ANY NetApp product(s) quoted in thedeal. Deal must have a Certificate of Destruction(COD) as defined in the COD document. If the partner/Disti does not want to sign the COD,NetApp will accept a non-standard R2N nomination.When nominating the opportunity in Ascend, submit anon-standard (Nomination type) with the followingexception comments: “Will NOT be submitting CODletter. Instead NetApp will receive an email from thepartner/Disti advising that the system is or will bedecommissioned after migration.” After the datamigration, partner/Disti will send an email confirmingdecommission of equipment. Sample text includes:“Opportunity #123456 - Please be advised that thesystem identified in this opportunity is or will bedecommissioned after migration”. A deal may qualify for other partner incentives programs.The partner is responsible for meeting the terms andconditions that are required for any other partner programincentives.3. PARTNER ANDDISTRIBUTOR ELIGIBILITYPARTNER ELIGIBILITYTo be eligible to provide your customer the migration serviceoffer, a Partner must have completed any PSC program orcompleted the ONTAP, E-Series, HCI, or SolidFireImplementation Services Certification, or must be working with aPSC/ISC Distributor who is certified/proficient at the time of Dealnomination. Or use NetApp PS for the migration.NOTE: Professional Services Certified or ImplementationServices Certified enables you to build, sell, and deliver yourown branded consulting and implementation services forNetApp solutions. Learn more about the ProfessionalServices Certified programs or Implementation ServicesCertified for ONTAP, E-Series, NetApp HCI, or SolidFire inthe partner program guide.DISTRIBUTOR ELIGIBILITYThe Run to NetApp promotion team is no longer checkingand declining deals that are not in alignment with theNetApp Right Pricing Guidance.To be eligible to deliver Run to NetApp services, Distributorsmust complete any of the Professional Services Certifiedprograms or Implementation Services Certified programs forONTAP, E-Series, NetApp HCI, or SolidFire.Migrations must be performed by:Option 1If a Partner elects to use a Distributor or NetApp PS todeliver the RUN TO NETAPP migration service, the Partnermust communicate that decision to the NetApp RUN TONETAPP Program Support Team at ngruntonetapp@netapp.com.Partner who has completed any Professional ServicesCertified program or is Implementation Services Certifiedfor ONTAP, E-series, NetApp HCI, or SolidFire.Option 2It is the Partner’s responsibility to make sure that theDistributor receives a copy of the RUN TO NETAPPAcceptance Letter for the approved Deal registration.Distributor who has completed any Professional ServicesCertified program or is Implementation Services Certifiedfor ONTAP, E-series, NetApp HCI, or SolidFire.For these opportunities, the RUN TO NETAPP PromotionRebate will be paid to the eligible Distributor who deliversthe migration service. All the terms and conditions in thisdocument are applicable to eligible distributors who deliverservices and/or receive payment.Option 3NetApp Professional Services The deal must include a migration letter, signed by thecustomer.The deal must be booked between April 29, 2019 to April24, 2020; acceptable proof of migration must besubmitted by October 23, 2020.The deal can include NetApp AFF, All-SAN Array (ASA),FAS System, E-Series, FlexPod , SolidFire , NetAppHCI, or ANY NetApp platform.NOTE: It is highly recommended that an eligible distributornot engage in a RUN TO NETAPP service opportunitywithout reviewing the Acceptance Letter and confirming theopportunity specifics with the partner.Deals that do not meet the promotion criteria will not beeligible for the promotion. An email will be sent to thepartner and the Promotion Status will be updated to“Request Declined.” If the Deal is declined for the promotion,the partner should pursue other ways to close the Deal.When in doubt, contact RUN TO NETAPP Program SupportTeam at ng-runtonetapp@netapp.com.After all these criteria are met, the promotion will beapproved, and a required Acceptance Letter will be sent out. 2020 NetApp, Inc. When in doubt,contact RUN TO NETAPP Program Support Team at ngruntonetapp@netapp.com.a. NOMINATE THE OPPORTUNITYc. BOOK AND DELIVERYou must first create an opportunity in Ascend. After theopportunity is created, click “Promotions” from the list ofoptions available, then select “Run to NetApp” and completeall the fields in the request form. If the partner/Disti does notwant to sign the COD, NetApp will accept a non-standardR2N nomination. When nominating the opportunity inAscend, submit a non-standard (Nomination type) with thefollowing exception comments: “Will NOT be submittingCOD letter. Instead NetApp will receive an email from thepartner/Disti advising that the system is or will bedecommissioned after migration.”Once the partner receives the Acceptance Letter, they canproceed to book the deal. Important: Any deal bookedwithout an Acceptance Letter will be declined.No exceptions!Support Team will verify that the booked opportunity stillmeets promotion acceptance. In order to receive the rebate,the following criteria must be satisfied:b. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCEPTANCEAll Deals will be reviewed by RUN TO NETAPP ProgramSupport Team within 48 hours of the submittal to ensure thatall the RUN TO NETAPP Promotion criteria are met. Dealsthat meet the promotion criteria will be eligible for thepromotion. An Acceptance Letter will be emailed tothe partner and the Promotion Status will be updated to“Request Approved.” Deals that change after accepted needto be resubmitted to the program support team to review thecriteria.1.Booked opportunity meets Promotion acceptance terms2.Entire opportunity has been invoiced3.Proof of Migration is documented4.Certificate of Destruction or email stating decommissionof system is confirmedOnce all the verification has been completed, rebate will bepaid to partner in the next quarterly statement.Promotional Rebate rates that are available under the RUNTO NETAPP Promotion are based on fiscal year 2020Annual Operating Plan rates. Promotion Rebate rates varyby Deal size and may be up to, but not exceed, the amountsshown in Table 3.Deals that do not meet the promotion criteria will not beeligible for the promotion. 5. ADDITIONAL TERMS ANDCONDITIONSe. U.S. PUBLIC SECTORFor all Deals that involve U.S. Public Sector customers,you must present satisfactory evidence to NetApp that thePromotion Rebate has been passed on to the customer. Youare required to send a copy of the customer invoice showingthat the RUN TO NETAPP Promotion discount has beenpassed on to the customer to ng-runtonetapp@netapp.comno later than April 24, 2020.Notwithstanding any other provision herein, The Run toNetApp Promotion is available only so long as necessaryfunding remains, the promotion is from April 29, 2019 andruns through April 24, 2020, and subject to the terms andconditions herein.A “Deal” is defined as one or more qualified sales orders,associated with a single RUN TO NETAPP customeropportunity, for which the submitting partner has beenawarded the NetApp Deal Registration. One or moresales orders, associated with the same RUN TO NETAPPcustomer and opportunity, booked within three (3) businessdays of one another, will be deemed a single deal.f. TERMS OF PROMOTION REBATE PAYMENT Acceptable Proof of Migration must be received bythe NetApp RUN TO NETAPP Program Support Teamon or before October 23, 2020. Any proof of migrationreceived after October 23, 2020, will be void. Promotion Rebate payments are issued a maximum of60 days after the close of the NetApp fiscal quarter inwhich the deal books and Partner has submittedacceptable Proof of Migration. NetApp fiscal quarters during this promotion are Q1FY’20 through Q4 FY’20. The Promotion Rebate payment is a maximum per-dealpayment as shown in Table 2. The Promotion Rebate payment for this promotion willfollow standard NetApp guidelines. For example, if youget paid directly through NetApp today, you will continueto get paid directly through NetApp. The NetApp Promotion Rebate payment is in thecurrency in which you transact business with NetApp orin U.S. dollars. A partner may only receive a single RUN TO NETAPPPromotion Rebate per deal.Partner must have an accepted NetApp Deal Registrationfor the deal in accordance with the NetApp Deal RegistrationPromotion. Email approval will be forwarded to the partnerfor inclusion in the RUN TO NETAPP Promotion.“Proof of Migration” is defined as (i) Customer MigrationConfirmation Letter signed by customer. NetApp mayaudit any Deal to confirm adherence to terms and conditionsof the RUN TO NETAPP Promotion.The Run to NetApp promotion team reserves the right todecline any deals that are not in alignment with the NetAppcorporate profitability guidelines.For Bangladesh, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Nepal, the totalpayout per deal for Objective Attainment incentives cannotexceed 10%.NETAPP ANTIBRIBERY POLICYNetApp’s policy is to conduct its business activities incompliance with applicable antibribery and anticorruptionlaws, including the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act(FCPA) globally and other applicable antibribery andanticorruption laws in countries where NetApp conductsbusiness, such as the United Kingdom’s Bribery Act.
