Butterfly ValvesHenry Pratt Company offers a wide variety of butterfly valves that meet or exceed AWWA C504 standards. From high pressure applications to nuclear/power plant applications, Henry Pratt Company has the butterflyvalve you are looking for.The Pratt Triton Butterfly Valve has arubber seat located inthe body that reducesperformance problemsrelated to corrosivebuildup in valve bodyand pipeline. The E-Lok seat can be adjustedand/or repaired in thefield without dewateringthe pipeline or removingthe valve from theline. The flow throughdisc design allows more strength, less weight, andgreater free flow area. Higher Cv : lower head lossresults in energy saving for customer’s system. Thevalves meet or exceed AWWA Standard C504 andconform to NSF61 and NSF372.Henry Pratt Companynow offers a 350psi,525 shell test, ANSI250#, Butterfly Valve –the first in the industry! This valve is excellentin high pressureapplications. The valvebody and disc are madeof ductile iron with therubber seat in the bodyfor abrasion resistanceand bubble-tightclosure. Available in 6"– 48" with flanged endconnections. The Pratt 2FIIrubber seatedbutterfly valve isavailable in sizes3" through 20".The shafts areconstructed ofcenter-less, groundASTM A276 type304 or 316 stainlesssteel bar and thusare not susceptibleto corrosion asare carbon steelor other similar materials. Shafts are one-piece,through-shaft construction, sized to meet or exceedthe requirements of AWWA Standard C504 for Class150B butterfly valves. For undergrounddistribution andtransmissionsystems, PrattGroundhog valvesare available insizes 4" – 72". ThePratt Groundhogvalve meets allrequirements ofAWWA C504.A Pratt MDT buried service actuator is standard, and either flanged, mechanical joint, push-on joint, wafer or victaulic coupling styles are available.Components are selected for long-term reliability,so the valves will provide service life equaling orexceeding that of the pipeline.Henry Pratt Company 3

Ball ValvesPratt ball valves are ideally suited for pump checkservice in large water, sewage and wastewater pumpstations to control pump start-up and shutdownsurges and provide virtually zero headloss whilepumping for lowest possible pumping cost. Availablein a variety of sizes, the ball valve serves as ashutoff device in potable, raw water, sewage, andapplications involving high velocity service. Becauseof their full port area, ball valves minimize pumpingcosts which translates into lower operating costs forthe plant. Features include double seats, a 100%full port design, and they fully comply with AWWAstandard C507.In addition to replacing most other full port valves, the Pratt ball valve is used extensively in applicationswhere swing check and globe-type check valveswere formerly used. The Pratt ball valve has alsofound extensive applications in high velocity servicesuch as hydroelectric and gravity feed lines whereline velocities exceed 50 feet per second. ThePratt ball valve is equally effective as a long lastingshutoff device in potable, raw water, and raw sewageapplications.Henry Pratt Company introducedthe Rubber Seated Ball Valve over40 years ago and this Pratt designhas been refined over the years. In 1991 Henry Pratt Company introduced a metalseated ball valve to the municipal water andwastewater marketplace. The Pratt ball valve offershigh flow rates, protected seating areas whenin the open and closed position, and the abilityto operate in the presence of solids and othercontamination. It meets or exceeds AWWA C507standard, has a relatively low torque for operation, and has a long life in high-cycle conditions.Henry Pratt Company's ball valve passed the10,000 cycle test.Air ValvesIn 2013, Henry Pratt Company introduced its innovative line of AirPro Max Air Valves, which represent all three basic types of air valves for the water and wastewaterindustries: air release valves, air vacuum valves and combination valves, as wellas anti-shock air vacuum valves, vacuum breaker, and well service valves.AirPro Max Series WAR Air Release Valves are designed to vent trapped airthat collects at high points in a pipeline. AirPro Max Series WAV Air VacuumValves are high capacity air venting and intake valves designed to vent linesand prevent vacuums within the line. The AirPro Max Series WCV CombinationAir Valve combines the functions of both the Air Release Valve and Air VacuumValve. The AirPro Max Series WWAR Wastewater Air Release Valves, Series WWAVWastewater Air Vacuum Valves and Series WWCV Combination Valves performthe same functions for all wastewater applications.4 Henry Pratt Company

Check ValvesHenry Pratt Company has a full line of check valvesincluding: swing check, spring loaded, double disc, globe, compact wafer-silent, wafer, flexible disc, tilteddisc, and rubber flapper.Series 8001 and 9001 Swing Check Valvesare self-contained, free-swinging disc style withoutside lever and weight oroutside lever and spring. Valvesconform to all standardsset forth in AWWA C508.Best used in wastewater, water, sewage, oil, andgas applications. The8001 series are producedwith cast iron body, bronzeor stainless steel seat rings, Buna-N or EPDMdisc inserts, and hinge pins of corrosion resistantstainless steel. The 9001 Series feature enlargedhinge pins and upgraded materials of constructionset forth for air or oil cushionvalves. They areproduced in cast ironbody, bronze orstainless steel seatrings, Buna-N orEPDM disc inserts, and hinge pins ofcorrosion resistantstainless steel. Valves are fieldconvertible to bronze air cushion or oil cushionsystems. Both series have internal and externalepoxy coating conforming to AWWA C550 standard.Valves are designed for horizontal or verticalinstallations and for uninterrupted continuousservice.Plug ValvesRD-Series Check Valve has onlyone moving part: a resilientdisc reinforced with steel. Thissimple, innovative valveprovides dependable, maintenance freeperformance, and quietoperation with its inherentnon-slam construction. The large, unobstructed flowpath makes the valve an excellent choice forwastewater as well as water applications. The designhas undergone a rigorous 1,000,000 continuouscycle test with no signs of wear or distortion to thevalve disc or seat. All sizes, 2" – 24", have a 250 psirating.Tilting Disc Check Valve is the most versatileand reliable check valve Henry Pratt Company hasto offer. This valve offers significant energy andcost savings over the life of the valve due to itslarge flow area and low head loss characteristics.Short disc travel fromfull open to full closeprovides the ability toclose very rapidly orvery slowly to avoidcontributing to slammingand surges. The tiltingdisc check valve is alsooffered with an upperhydraulic dashpot toaid in disc closure inmultiple pump systemseven after a powerfailure. Henry PrattCompany continues to expand our product offeringto those customers who require specialty valves forapplications where opening and closing times arecritical to control flow reversal and reduce waterhammer. The Pratt Ballcentric Plug Valve available in sizes ranging from 1/2" – 72"is designed specifically for wastewater applications. The round port designavailable on sizes 1/2" – 12", offers the least resistance to slurry, sludge, and fluidflow resulting in less erosion, longer service life, and reduced pumping costs. Thelarge round port design can pass larger solids reducing plugging problems. Roundport valves offer the best flow characteristics compared to alternative port openings, resulting in less pressure drop across the valve. Pressure classes on 12" and smaller is175 psi, pressure classes on 14" and larger is 150 psi, higher pressure on request.Henry Pratt Company 5
