File: 79-fc141Page 1 of 15Fault Code 141Oil Pressure Sensor CircuitCODESFault Code: 141PID(P), SID(S): P100FMI: 4Lamp: YellowSRT: 00-087REASONLow voltage detected at oilpressure sensor signal pin 7 of thesensor harness connector.EFFECTNo engine protection for oil pressure.Oil Pressure Sensor CircuitCircuit Description:The oil pressure sensor is used by the electronic control module (ECM) to monitor the lubricating oil pressure. The ECMmonitors the voltage on the signal pin and converts this to a pressure value. The oil pressure value is used by the ECMfor the engine protection system.Component Location: M11 - The oil pressure sensor is located on the engine block to the right of the ECM. N14 - The oil pressure sensor is located on the engine block near the pan rail on the fuel pump side of the engine.Shop Talk:If Fault Code 143 or 415 is not present, the problem is not base engine related. 2008 Cummins Inc., Box 3005, Columbus, IN 47202-3005 U.S.A.All Rights Reserved.Printed from QuickServe Online.Last Modified: 27-Oct-2003

A file pointer must be declared and used to access a file. Declaring a file pointer would be in this general form: FILE * ptr_name for example: FILE * inFile; // for an input file FILE * outFile; // for an output file inFile and outFile are just variable names, and as you know, you can name your variables whatever you want.
