Conclusion & Discussion Bridging vlan (wired and wireless) makes networkmanagement easier and centralized.VLAN could be put or attached in bridge orphysical interface.When you add an interface to a bridge, the bridgebecomes the master interface and all bridge portsbecome slave ports, this means that all traffic thatis received on a bridge port is captured by thebridge interface and all traffic is forwarded to theCPU using the bridge interface instead of thephysical interface.EUTCMUM Yogyakarta 19-20 Oct 201879

Conclusion & Discussion With bridges, it is easy to show and manage thetrunk port or access port.Always disable VLAN filtering first, before youare sure about your VLAN setting !Always give the specific IP to the bridges forease of maintenance and trouble-shooting.Bridging in wireless, we should use stationbridge or bridge mode, don't use station onlymode.The disadvantage of wds and repeater link is thereduction of the throughput on the wireless side.EUTCMUM Yogyakarta 19-20 Oct 201880
