2018RALLYE GUIDE (EN)THIS DOCUMENT HAS NO REGULAMENTARY POWER – FOR INFORMATION ONLY1 b.) Brief historic note of the eventThe first edition of Rallye Azores dates from 1965, at the time designated by Volta à Ilha de São Miguel. In 1968, therally became part of the National Rally Championship and by its eighth edition the rally gains international status. Theacceptance on the European Rally Championship takes place in 1992, with the event counting for this competitionwith coefficient 2. Due to several years of successful events, always with positive and increasing quality reviews, therally reaches the coefficient 10 of the FIA European Rally Championship. However and resulting from changes madeon the FIA European Rally Championship sporting regulation, the rally became part of the FIA European Rally CupsCoef. 10. The name SATA Rally Açores, which the event still bears, appears in 1999, marks the beginning of using theevent “SATA Rallye Açores” as a showcase of the Azores as an excellent destiny for tourism, its people, their traditionsand its motorsport. With the year of 2008 comes the opportunity for the rally to belong to the most mediatized motorsport competitionat the time, the Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC), organized and promoted by the television channel Eurosport. Inthat year, SATA Rallye Açores assumes the role of IRC Supporter Event, with eyes placed on the coveted rise to a levelof prominence in the world of motorsport. With the unique opportunity to cause a good impression, the organizingcommittee gets another great review and in the next year, SATA Rallye Açores finally reaches the desired level ofprominence, integrating since 2009 and until 2012, the calendar of the competition that is already considered to be acase study of the promotion of a sporting event, the localities where the competition takes place and competitorsparticipating in it, with locals gaining visibility across borders. At the beginning of 2013, the rally that has in its name the brand of an airline company – SATA - and the name of abird – Açores (Azores) - that symbols the first birds seen by the ones that discovered this group of islands in the XIVcentury and that names this archipelago accessible mainly by air, expected a new and difficult challenge: theagreement between the FIA and Eurosport to revitalize the FIA European Rally Championship, through the promotionand organization of a new competition, with the success seen before at IRC and the termination of IRC due to thisagreement, opened a dantesque scenario for 23 organizations that had their rallies belonging to IRC and/or the FIAEuropean Rally Championship calendars. With increased merit and due to the close relationship of Grupo Desportivo Comercial and its partners, mainly to theAzores Government and SATA, always aware of the main objective of the SATA Rallye Açores: make Azores known tothe world, SATA Rallye Açores has reached the goal of taking part of the main competition of the FIA European RallyChampionship, culminating with this achievement the successful work of several people who had been taking since1992 that commitment with the Azores, with its people and with many of our rally enthusiasts. The golden edition of SATA Rallye Açores, the 50 th, takes place in 2015 with the event counting with one of the bestentry list ever, with the rally being decided until the last stage.2016 is a year for big challenges! The rally sees its name changed to Azores Airlines Rallye, due to a rebranding madeby the Azorean Airline company, main sponsor of the event, that brings increased responsibility so all the eyes of theworld are put on this new brand and on the rally, but also comes as additional motivation, to do better than the past51 years. And the first edition of the event after turning 50 years couldn’t end better with local hero Ricardo Moura winning theevent, 45 years after another Azorean achieved that historical result, with the event counting with an entry list ofmore than 70 competitors. The event is round one of the 2018 FIA European Rally Championship and it opens the season at its best: ultimate R5cars will be at the start line, driven by the best rally drivers all over Europe, for another astonishing edition of theAzores Rallye.www.azoresrallye.com5

Agile software development with Scrum is first introduced with its elements. Next, we use three development process lenses (communication, coordination, and control) to study how Scrum supports each of development processes, how they are related each other, and how they affect the performance of Scrum. In the following section, we analyze Scrum practices from social factor theories (social .
