DITCH WITCH FX60, FX30 Vacuum Excavation SystemsThe FX60 and FX30 are not only the quietest and most productive vacuum excavation systems you’ll everexperience, they’re also the most personal. You pick the tank size, horsepower, and options, and we buildyour vac system to suit your task list: exposing buried utility lines, cleaning out storm drain and catchbasins, HDD site cleanup, and more.

ABKEY FEATURES The FX60 (82 dBA) and FX30 (73 dBA) are the quietest vacsin their class, so you can operate almost anywhere, includingnoise-sensitive residential and urban areas. Choice of vac tank sizes to handle virtually any size job(see last page for details). (Photograph A) Saddle-style freshwater tanks give the1200-gallon FX60 a lower center of gravity, making it easyto pull just about anywhere. (Photograph B) Fully enclosed, insulated and lockable powerpack protects major components from weather and vandalismwhile leading the industry in noise reduction. Water pressure can be adjusted from a curbside operator’sstation that allows one-person control of all unit functions. Reusable, single-element vacuum filter and a blower reliefvalve air filter provide the industry’s best filtration. Autoclutching feature disengages the water pump when wateris not in use, allowing full system power for suction. Either system may be ordered from the factory trailermounted or stand-alone, so you can mount it on your owntrailer or flatbed truck. Full-opening rear door with single-point latch makes dumpingspoils easy.5

DITCH WITCH FX20 Vacuum Excavation SystemThe FX20 is ideal for a wide range of small projects and multiple short runs per day: small municipal projectssuch as valve box cleanout, commercial and residential debris cleanup and landscaping, exposing utility lines,posthole digging, and many other relatively small tasks. The 27-hp (20.1 kW) FX20 has the suction power ofthe larger FX30, yet it can be easily transported with a pickup truck.

Outstanding suction power of 540 cfm (15.3 m /min) in acompact, extremely durable package.3 Triple filtration system with a cyclone separator cleans theair before it ever reaches the filter, minimizing maintenance. Curbside operator’s console is designed to make controlseasily accessible; for custom applications, the console canbe positioned on either side of the unit. The FX20 is equipped with a 27-hp (20.1 kW) Kohler gas engine that is renowned for its reliability and ease ofmaintenance. Belt-driven blower makes the FX20 more reliable and easierto maintain. Exclusive non-contact water shutoff switch protects the waterpump and eliminates the potential leaks of a float switch, whichrequires holes to be drilled in the side of the tank.7

It sets up quickly so you can exercise more valves and hydrants perday. With our computerized model, you can record all of the exerciser’s activities, saving you time and labor for data input and retrievaland helping you quickly import work orders, more accurately operate valves and hydrants, capture GPS, and create numerous reports.KEY FEATURES Best-in-class range of motion—270-degree turning radius,10-ft (3 m) reach—so you can access hard-to-reach valvesand hydrants without repositioning the vehicle. Fingertip control reduces operator fatigue. Innovative design absorbs torque when turning the valveor hydrant, which reduces risk of damage caused by slammingof the valve or hydrant, a common problem with rigidlymounted exercisers.
