TheMunchkins called me because a newwitch has just dropped a house onthe Wicked Witch of the East, andthere’s the house, and here you are,and those legs are all that’s left ofthe Wicked Witch of the East. Andso, what the Munchkins want toknow is, are you a good witch or abad witch?GLINDAThe Munchkins. They’re laughingbecause I am a witch. I’m Glinda,the Witch of the North.DOROTHYYou are! How did you ever getlike this?TINMAN(through the corner of his mouth)Oil can! Oil can!DOROTHYDid you say something?TINMANWell, one day I was out cutting downsome trees when I got caught in aterrible rainstorm. Not too long after,I started to rust up. And I’ve beenhere ever since.TINMANOil can!DOROTHYWell, you’re perfect now.DOROTHYHere it is. Where do you want to beoiled first?TINMANMy – my neck, my – my neck.Perfect? Just bang on my chest ifyou think I’m perfect. Go ahead –bang on it!TINMANMy mouth – my mouth!SCARECROWHe said his mouth! The other side!DOROTHYYes – there.TINMANMe e me .e .
