BiographiesKent Whitmore (Assistant Director) is a familiar face toAllison Bollinger (Caitlin O’Hare) is making her firstmany ACT patrons. He appeared this past December inappearance on the ACT stage but has performed in aA Christmas Chaos. His favorite role was Phillip Julian innumber of shows. She has appeared at WaterlooThe Trouble with Cats. He also appeared at the IngersollCommunity Playhouse (Singing in the Rain, Cabaret, and TheDinner Theatre and the First Church Potluck Theatre.Man Who Came to Dinner) and at Cedar Falls CommunityKent retired this sprng and since then has been spendingTheatre (Winter Wonderettes and Fox on the Fairway). She hashis time doing housework, junking, and going out forperformed in over 35 plays and musicals including equitycoffee with his friends.theater. Allison enjoys biking, running, singing, andplaying with her adorable dog, Eli. She is employed at theScience Center and at Des Moines Performing Arts.Lisa Gould (Lights & Sound) is a regular volunteer for ACT both on stage andSusan Casber (Aida) was last seen on our stage inbehind the scenes. Rebecca Masucci (Emma) is making her debut at ACTas well. Her favorite roles include Sara in Every FiveMinutes at StageWest, Smitty in How to Succeed in Business atACTORS, Mrs. Hatcher in Tales of a 4th Grade Nothing atthe Des Moines Playhouse, and a host of Dinner Detective.Rebecca is a Senior Project Manager at TantusTechnologies. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing,improv, and watching her son, Max, participate infootball, baseball and track.Nicholas Root (Nick) most recently played Vanya inVanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike at ACTORS. Favoriteroles include the Sheriff of Nottinghamin (The SomwhateTrue Tales of Robin Hood) at the Des Moines Playhouse andThe Beast in Beauty and the Beast with UrbandaleCommunity Theatre. Nick enjoys playing video games.He is a bankruptcy specialist with Wells Fargo.Don Rothweiler (Nunzio) has appeared in numerousshows at the Des Moines Playhouse. Favorite rolesinclude: The Chairman (The Mystery of Edwin Drood),Ensemble (Young Frankenstein), Juror #11 (Twelve AngryMen), Cinderella’s Father (Into the Woods), and Friar Tuck(The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood). He also performedas Alfred P. Doolittle in My Fair Lady at Quincy IllinoisCommunity Theatre. Don was a part of the Iowa TouringTheater Company (education outreach troupe of the DMPlayhouse) and has led tours in Germany. Hobbiesinclude Old Time Radio performance with the DesMoines Playhouse, and puppet creation and performance.Doug Moon (Director) has previously directed Some SweetDay, Drinking Habits, Death by Chocolate, and Big Five-Oh.He was last seen on the ACT’s stage this past Decemberplaying the role of director for A Christmas Chaos.
