UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH COUNCILThe Undergraduate Research Council of Valdosta State University was organized in the fallsemester of 2011. Membership includes faculty representative from the undergraduateacademic departments and programs at VSU. The Council is charged with promotingundergraduate students’ interest in research, with seeking ways to promote undergraduatestudents’ involvement in research activities, and with helping faculty identify opportunities toinvolve undergraduates in research. The Council supports the implementation of ValdostaState University’s Quality Enhancement Plan, which promotes undergraduate engagement indiscipline-based inquiry.
