We will also bemoving to straight grades right across the school which will be made up of 3 x Foundation classes, 4 x Gr 1 classes, 3 x Gr 2classes, 3 x Gr 3 classes, 3 x Gr 4 classes, 4 x Gr 5 classes and 3 x Gr 6 classes. Our captains were such wonderful ambassadors for our school during theirlast interview, so I am sure they will do us all proud again tomorrow!2019 Curriculum Days - At our School Council Meeting this week, the dates for our four 2019 Curriculum Days wereapproved and they are as follows.1st Curriculum Day Tuesday 29th January – Writing Professional Learning Session – VCOP Focus2nd Curriculum Day Wednesday 30th January - 2019 Curriculum Planning and Start of Year Preparations3rd Curriculum Day Monday 15th July – Writing Professional Learning Session – VCOP / Learning Maps Focus4th Curriculum Day Friday 13th December – 2020 Curriculum Planning Session2019 Student Learning Interview Days - Our Student Learning Interview Days were also approved by School Council thisweek and they will follow the same format as they did in Term 3 this year, where students only attend school during theirallocated interview time on the following days.1st Interview Day Monday 25th March - Parent/Teacher/Student Meet and Greet Interviews2nd Interview Day Friday 26th July - Parent/Teacher/Student Learning InterviewsEnergy Break Through (EBT) - Our Energy Break Through competition took place over the last five days and our teamworked extremely hard in preparation for the big event in Maryborough, which definitely paid off as they achieved somefantastic results. I am extremely proud of their efforts and of the magnificent way each of our team members conductedthemselves throughout the competition. This event offered so many important learning experiences for our students and weare so thankful to all the parents and staff members who so generously gave up their time to ensure the success of this event.Grade 6 Graduation and Grade 5/6 Social - Grade 6 Team are busy organising the Graduation ceremony for our Grade 6students and it certainly looks like it will be a memorable couple of nights for our students and their families. This year theofficial Grade 6 Graduation Ceremony will be held on Monday 17th December at St Francis of the Fields Primary School Hall.Due to the size of this venue, we are able to accommodate up to 500 guests, so this will enable our graduating students toinvite all their family and friends to this important event. On Wednesday 19th December, our Grade 6 students will be invitedto partake in a celebratory dinner at the Strathfieldsaye Community Centre and then they will be joined by their Grade 5 peersat the Gr 5-6 Social.
