Remove existing lamp /reflector trim from ceiling and dispose of properly (Fig. A).For existing LED luminaires disconnect & remove entiretrim assembly and dispose of properly (Fig. B).Step 2Disconnect any supply, ballast & thermal protector wiring.Remove existing ballast / LED driver including j-box door anddispose of correctly. For products with socket cups (Fig. C),trim wire leads close to J-box wall running to the socket cuppreventing re-use. For LED products (Fig. C), trim wire leadsclose to J-box wall running to the connector cover preventingre-use. If a thermal protector is used, trim or cap leads as toprevent re-using for this application. If removed from J-box,the hole left needs to be covered. Before closing new j-box door, be sure to place all leads & connections back intojunctions box with care not to pinch wiring.Fig. FStep 9Squeeze trim springs in order to push the trim into the ceiling (Fig. F). Adjustmentladders can be positioned every ¼” to fit various ceiling heights. To adjust, gentlydisengage shim on trim spring, slide spring to appropriate ladder setting, and allow toclick into place (Fig. G). For early LED frames, springs may need to be adjusted forframe height in addition to ceiling thickness.AdjustmentladderStep 10 (For 6100 Series, 6200 Series, B600 Frames Only)Retrofit Trim Springs are mounted upside down as shown in Fig H. Retirer la lampeexistante et la garniture-réflecteur du plafond et en disposeradéquatement (Fig. A). Pour un luminaire DEL existant,déconnecter et retirer le groupe garniture au complet et endisposer adéquatement (Fig. B).Fig. BFig. AÉtape 2Déconnecter tout câblage d’alimentation, du ballast ou de laprotection thermique. Retirer le ballast/pilote DEL existant, incluantla porte de la boîte de jonction et en disposer adéquatement. Pourun produit avec boîtier de douille (Fig. C), couper les fils vers leboîtier de douille à la boîte de jonction pour en empêcher laréutilisation. Pour un produit DEL (Fig. C), couper les fils vers lecouvercle du connecteur à la boîte de jonction pour en empêcher laréutilisation. Si une protection thermique est utilisée, couper oucouvrir les fils pour en empêcher la réutilisation dans cetteapplication. Si retirée de la boîte de jonction, le trou laissé doit êtreobturé. Laisser seulement dans la boîte de jonction les filsd’alimentation, de gradation (s’il y a lieu) et les fils de MALT.Étape 3Enlever ou pivoter les ressorts de retenue vers l’extérieur del’ouverture pour empêcher l’interférence avec l’installation dunouvel appareil.
